The 12 Stones Church welcomes you to a new blog series that will help you get the most out of your church experience. We know that sometimes it can be hard to keep up with all the different times and locations for each service, so we’re here to help. We’ll be publishing weekly blog entries with details on how to get to each service, what time it starts, and what time it ends. We hope this makes your life easier! Each entry will also include a brief summary of the service’s theme and purpose, so you can learn more about what’s going on at your local church! Stone Church offers a variety of services and worship opportunities to meet your needs.
Our 11:00 am service is an all-ages service that features contemporary worship music and teaching from our pastor, who will also be available for prayer and ministry after the service. Our 5:30 pm service is a traditional service that uses hymns, scripture reading, and a sermon to help you deepen your relationship with God. On Sundays, you can also join us for our 10:00 a.m. Early Morning Service, which is geared toward families with children and young adults. This service has more of a casual atmosphere where we can sing together or just play games together during the worship time.
12 Stone Church Service Times
The core adult services are available on Saturday at 5 p.m. and on Sunday at 9 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 5 p.m., and 7 p.m.
12 Stone Kids is available for children ages birth to grade 4 during all weekend services in the 12 Stone Kids building next door to the Worship Center; this includes special needs children who have an aide with them through the end of 2nd grade (see “Kids” section for more info). There is no childcare available during any of our midweek services or classes due to limited space, but nurseries are provided during the Saturday night services so that parents can attend the service while knowing their infants and toddlers are cared for by loving volunteers in a safe environment.

5 Reasons Christian Churches Must Not Stay Silent About Gun Violence.
I know there are still many Christian churches that haven’t seriously considered the issue of gun violence, and I know they’re afraid to. That’s understandable. The tragic deaths of more than 30 innocents in our nation by firearms have made even the most ardent pro-Second Amendment advocates think twice about their positions on this issue. But as a community health worker, when I hear a church leader tell me that his or her church is opposed to gun violence but won’t say anything against it for fear of “offending” their conservative communities, I wonder if Jesus would approve.
I first became concerned about the silence from some Christian churches on this topic when Mike Bickle, head pastor at Berean Baptist Church in Ohio, shared with me and my colleagues at Berean Baptist Church an idea he was considering for his congregation’s response to the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School two weeks after the shooting: thinking up new ways for Christians to live out their faith in concert with an anti-gun culture despite its evident hostility toward them.
Bickle eventually sent out a message in which he expressed grief over the shooting while saying nothing against guns (or encouraging people not to politicize the issue). This was followed by a statement from Scott Jones, senior pastor at Reformation Bible Church (RBC) in Atlanta: “I am deeply saddened by what has happened less than three miles from our main campus…. We pray for those who have lost loved ones and those who may be injured…. Our hearts go out to all involved.”
Why were these leaders so reluctant to speak up against gun violence? Because according to Bickle, “This is one of those things where it’s not black and white; if we start telling people that they can’t own guns or they can’t use them, then we’ll lose half our members.” But even as other Christian leaders at RBC commented on how horrific it was that children had been killed in such a senseless manner right outside their doors—evidently feeling no need to
