SHORT PRAYER TO OPEN A MEETING

Dear Lord, thank you for the privilege of being together today. We pray that your Holy Spirit be here with us so that we may have wisdom and understanding as we discuss this matter. May our hearts be filled with love and grace as we listen to each other’s views and concerns. We ask that you guide us through this meeting and help us make decisions which would glorify your name. Amen

Lord, we come before you in Jesus name, asking for your divine guidance and direction over our meeting today. We ask that you be with us and with our colleagues who are unable to attend.

  • We come before you in Jesus’ name, asking for your divine guidance and direction over our meeting today.
  • We ask that you be with us and with our colleagues who are unable to attend.
  • Give us wisdom and insight in the matter which we are discussing so that it would be to your glory.

We pray that you give us wisdom and insight in the matter which we are discussing so that it would be to your glory.

When we pray, let us be obedient to the Lord’s command “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened.” (Matthew 7:7)

We are asking for wisdom and insight in the matter which we are discussing so that it would be to your glory. We believe that this meeting is held in accordance with your will. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen!

May your Holy Spirit be with us that He may fill our hearts with grace, peace and love.

Now that you’re feeling the love, it’s time to get down to business. As you plan and prepare for your meeting, may your Holy Spirit be with us that He may fill our hearts with grace, peace and love.

Our meetings are going to be held every Tuesday from 6pm until 7pm in the student lounge at FSU-Tallahassee. This is a great opportunity for all of us to come together as a community and bond over our shared interest in prayer!

We pray for unity, togetherness and understanding as we discuss all matters in this meeting.

We pray for unity, togetherness and understanding as we discuss all matters in this meeting.

Unity is the objective of any meeting. Togetherness is the result of unity and understanding is the result of united people who understand each other well.

May we be able to achieve this blessed state together (openly).

May your will be done and your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.

In meetings, it is important to pray. This is because prayer is a form of worship. Prayer is a way for us to communicate with God and ask for guidance or direction.

When we pray together as a group, we are saying “May your will be done and your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.” The kingdom of God is here on earth even though Jesus said that He would return to take us to heaven when He died on the cross for our sins. When people become Christians and accept Jesus as their Savior, they receive His gift of eternal life (John 3:16) through faith alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). We live our lives now under God’s grace by obeying Him through His Word (2 Timothy 3:16-17) without any conditions required except faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work at Calvary where He died for our sins so that we may be forgiven if we repent (Acts 17:30).

opening prayer for business meeting

Are you the one who is entrusted with the responsibility of opening and closing the meetings that are held in your company? If that’s true, then you must be really good at speaking to people. However, if you’re someone who keeps their mouth shut until they’re pushed into action, then it might be time for you to take a deep breath and start practicing these words:

Almighty God, we thank You for the sun and the rain; for the days of work and for the nights of rest; for health and for strength; for friends and for family.

Almighty God, we thank You for the sun and the rain; for the days of work and for the nights of rest; for health and for strength; for friends and for family.

Thank You that we can work hard today to provide what is needed by our families tomorrow. Thank You that we are strong enough to enjoy a few minutes of recreation while we are still able to do so. Thank You that we have friends who care about us, even if they live far away or don’t talk as often as they should. And thank you that in our family lives there is love, laughter and peace—even when there are disagreements between two people who care deeply about each other (like me and my wife).

Bless us today as we conduct our business and enable us to return with thankful hearts, praising You for Your continued goodness to us.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

We ask this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

We ask this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

  • We ask for God’s blessing on our business meeting today and its members. Lord, thank you for your love and grace that we have been given by your Son Jesus Christ. Please help us to make wise decisions as we work together as a team today. We pray for guidance from above, so that all things may be done well and according to Your will. Amen.*

Thank God for his love and grace before every meeting.

Thank God for his love and grace before every meeting.

God is the source of all good things and he will help you to know what is best for you. He will give you his strength and energy to accomplish the tasks that he has for you. When we are in his presence, we are filled with joy and peace; this is what happens when you let go of your worries, cares and concerns because they do not belong to us but rather they belong only to him who gives us everything that we need every day!

So thank God today with me as I pray these words: Father God, thank you so much for loving me unconditionally through Jesus Christ Your Son who died on the cross so that I could have eternal life with You! I praise Your Holy Name! In Jesus powerful name I pray… Amen

Amen

Amen is a short prayer that means so be it. It’s also the last word in this prayer.

Amen is often used as a response to prayers, or as an adjective or adverb to describe something that should be accepted without question or doubt.
