Rosary prayer in bengali

Follow the above sample picture of the Dominican Rosary repeating each specific prayer as noted below where it is designated in the layout.

In this picture with the exception of the Crucifix and one medallion, all other objects on the Rosary are represented by round “beads”. The medallion, (represented by a blue triangle about, is some art form in an actual Rosary – typically a depiction of Holy Mary or perhaps one of the saints – skip over the medallion as you begin praying the Rosary – the prayers designed for the medallion (Hail Holy, Queen and the Rosary Ending Prayer) are not prayed until the very end of the Rosary.

To clarify, after announcing the “First Mystery”, skip to the 1st bead to the right of the medallion and resume prayers with the first small bead (a “Hail Mary” bead). While saying each decade (10 beads) of the “Hail Mary” you should be meditating on the previously announced Mystery. For example, if you are praying the Rosary on Sunday, it is recommended to meditate on the Glorious Mysteries of Christ’s life in the order noted below.

Each day of the week has a particular set of Mysteries assigned to it:

Wednesday and Sunday is the Glorious Mysteries (The Resurrection of Jesus Christ, The Ascension of Jesus to Heaven, The Descent of the Holy Ghost, The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven, and The Coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth)

Monday and Saturday is the Joyful Mysteries (The Annunciation of the Angel to Mary, The Visitation of Mary to Saint Elizabeth, The Nativity of Jesus in Bethlehem, The Presentation of Jesus to the Temple, and The finding of Jesus in the Temple)

Tuesday and Friday is the Sorrowful Mysteries (The Agony of Jesus in the garden, The Scourging of Jesus at the Pillar, The Crowning with Thorns, The Carrying of the Cross, and The Crucifixion and Death of Jesus)

Thursday is the Luminous Mysteries (The Baptism of Jesus, The Wedding of Cana, The Proclamation of the Kingdom of God, The Transfiguration, and The Institution of the Eucharist)

———————————————————————————————————————————–

Praying the Rosary begins with the Crucifix (Cross) – make the Sign of the Cross and say – “In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.”

Continue prayers following as designated in the picture above:

Apostles’ Creed: “I believe in God, the Father almighty creator of heaven and earth and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God, the Father almighty. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.”
Our Father: “Our Father, who art in heaven Ϯ hallowed be thy name; Ϯ thy kingdom come; Ϯ thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Ϯ Give us this day Ϯ our daily bread Ϯ and forgive us our trespasses Ϯ as we forgive those who trespass against us; Ϯ and lead us not into temptation, Ϯ but deliver us from evil. Amen.”
Three Hail Marys:  “Hail Mary, full of grace. Ϯ The Lord is with thee. Ϯ blessed art thou amongst women, Ϯ and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Ϯ Holy Mary, Mother of God, Ϯ Pray for us sinners, now Ϯ and at the hour of our death. Amen.”

Glory Be: “Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.”
1st. The First Glorious Mystery “The Resurrection of Jesus”
Amen.”

Note the Ϯ symbols at various places in the “Our Father” and the “Hail Mary” prayers; this represents a moment of pause in the prayer for reflection.

To thee we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn then most gracious advocate, Thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this, our exile, show unto us, the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Pray for us O Holy Mother of God, That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen.”

Rosary Ending Prayer: “Let us pray: O God, whose only begotten Son, by His life, death, and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life, grant, we beseech Thee, that meditating upon these mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.”
