Prayer is an important way to experience God as the religious believer can communicate with Him. By bringing their problems to God, or asking for forgiveness and help, they come closer to Him. Christians believe they can speak with God in prayer and were taught to pray by Jesus himself.
Saint Faustina Kowalska’s Healing Prayer
Jesus, may Your pure and healthy blood circulate in my poor ailing organism, and may Your pure and healthy body transform my weak unhealthy body, and may a healthy and vigorous life flowing once again within me, if it is truly Your Holy Will. Amen.
Chaplet of The Divine Mercy:
Our Lord said to Saint Faustina: You will recite this chaplet on the beads of the Rosary in the following manner:
First of all you will say the Our Father, one Hail Mary and the Apostle’s Creed.
On the Our Father beads, say the following words:
Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.
On the Hail Mary beads, you will say the following words:
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
In conclusion, after the five decades you will say the following (three times):
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
This is the Chaplet that is used as a Novena (beginning on Good Friday) in preparation for the Feast of Divine Mercy.
Sister Faustina wrote in her diary: “The Lord told me to recite this chaplet for the nine days before the Feast of Mercy. It is to begin on Good Friday. By this novena (of Chaplets), I will grant every possible grace to souls.
The Feast of Divine Mercy is on the first Sunday after Easter Sunday.
SAINT FAUSTINA’S HEALING PRAYER
(Excerpt from Diary 650, 1089 & 84)
O MY JESUS, MY MASTER AND DIRECTOR, strengthen and enlighten me in these difficult moments of my life. I expect no help from people, all my hope is in You. I feel alone in the face of Your demands, O Lord. Despite the fears and qualms of my nature, I am fulfilling Your holy will And desire to fulfill it as faithfully as possible throughout my life and in my death. Jesus, with You I can do all things. Do with me as You please; only give me Your Heart and that is enough for me.
Jesus, may Your pure and healthy Blood circulate in my ailing organism, and your pure and healthy Body transform my weak body, and may a healthy and vigorous life flowing once again within me, if it’s truly your Holy Will. Amen.
O BLOOD AND WATER, WHICH GUSHED FORTH FROM THE HEART OF JESUS AS A FOUNT OF MERCY FOR US, I TRUST IN YOU! See less
