I was talking to a friend of mine when I came across this intriguing prayer. He said four years ago he met an elderly gentleman who had just been released from a mental hospital after being put there for trying to kill his wife. He sat down one evening and started reading the Bible and wanted to know if this man wanted him to pray for salvation for him. The man said yes so he started praying and felt the presence of The Lord enter the room. He asked the man if he felt anything and he said yes, that he felt like someone was holding him but didn’t want to let him go. Heavenly Father, we pray to you, Holy God, and Your Son, our Lord of Pardon. We ask that You would give us the grace to forgive others and bring peace between both parties. I am writing to you today on behalf of my brother, who’s been serving his country as a soldier in the Iraq war. He has been charged with killing 47 innocent Iraqis in his tent, men, women and children (the youngest was 6 days old). He was drugged and addicted by an evil Iraqi role model.
There are many things that can be said of the holy Christ, but one of the most remarkable is that he could pardon you no matter how bad your sins were. Not only can he forgive them, but he will not remember them any more. This is why a Christian should pray to our Lord Of Pardon because first, we know his awesome power, and second, we know that He will answer every one of our prayers. There is a lot to consider and take into account before trying to pray for someone. I have prayed for loved ones before, I have prayed for strangers, but never really researched all of the rules of such things and what exactly you are praying for. This time I will try and be as thorough as possible while explaining everything that there is to know about praying for people and why certain things are done this way. Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name; Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil
Heavenly Father, Sovereign of all creation, I come to you today and ask for your forgiveness. I was wrong. I was foolish. And I was arrogant. But please, Lord, forgive me and help me to move forward in your grace. You can follow this prayer as soon as you want. You just need to be calm and put your trust in God. If you happen to have an unbuffered bible, things might be easier for you. Send forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy light and Thy truth. Let them guide us on our ways. In the midst of the darkness of error, dissipate the clouds of confusion. Disperse the mists of seduction and selfishness. Enable us to recognize those who have made themselves our enemies, so that we may be protected by Thy holy love and Thy mercy.
Prayer To Our Lord Of Pardon
The Lord of Pardon prayers are wonderful prayers for thanksgiving, faith, and praise. It centers into Jesus and the wounds and sufferings that He endured especially on the way of the cross.
I tried to research these prayers and realized that I can’t find all of them in just one site. So, I decided to write them down here. Hope you find them very helpful.
The promises of pardon of our Lord Jesus Christ
“Pardon, Oh my God, Pardon, I Cry to Thee; Pardon me my offenses, Pardon, Lord, grant me.”
This is the supplication of a sinner to Him Who created him, to God Whom he has offended.
God is just – He rewards the good and punishes the wicked. He is also merciful as borne out by the Book of Books and history of mankind. He has made assurance of pardon to sinners who are repentant.
God asks of the sinner to the humble and to acknowledge his sins and to be sorry for them.
“If we acknowledge our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all iniquity.” (I John 1:9)
We should not hesitate to seek the pardon and mercy of God: we should go to Him the moment we fall into sin:
“Delay not to be concerted to the Lord, and defer it not from day to day. For His wrath shall come on a sudden.” (Eccl. 5:8-9)
God listens to the prayer of a humble penitent sinner.
“A humble, and penitent heart, O God, Thou wilt not despair.” (Psalm 50:19)

Veneration of the Wounds (On the Shoulder of Christ)
“O dearest, Jesus, Lamb of God most meek, I, a miserable sinner, render homage and worship to the wound upon Thy shoulder made by the heavy cross. Thou didst carry. Its weight tore Thy flesh and bared Thy shoulder bones, which caused Three sufferings more than did Thy other wounds. I adore Thee, O grieving Jesus, I praise, thank Thee for Thy adorable and most painful wound. Vouch safe to grant me, through the excessive pain and unmeasured weight of the cross to have mercy on me a sinner. Forgive me my mortal and venial sins, and guide me on to heaven through the way of the cross. Amen.”
