The religions of the world acknowledge Jesus as a prophet (one of many) or even as a deity (one of many) or a teacher, an inspiration or an example, but for the religions of the world the face of Jesus Christ is always one among many. As far as the unbeliever is concerned, his portrait hangs with all the others on the same wall. The unbelieving mind cannot see the glory of Christ.
Keep your eyes peeled and your prayers up. If you don’t, you’ll give in to temptation. Thought and feeling are on board, but body is slow to catch up. Matthew 26:41 in the New Living Translation
Then Jesus used a tale to emphasize the need of prayer. (Lucas 18:1)
Also, always remember to tell the Holy Spirit what you need. Keep this in mind while you pray for and watch over God’s saints. (NIV) Reference to Ephesians 6:18 in the Bible.
Don’t worry if you can’t think of anything to say in prayer; the Holy Spirit will lead you.
The Spirit helps us to be strong while we are weak. When our prayers are fruitless, the Holy Spirit makes petitions for us. According to God’s will, the Holy Spirit makes intercession for the righteous, and anybody who looks into our hearts may deduce what the Spirit is thinking. New International Version: Romans 8:26-27
As God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, I now declare.
Amen.
Let us honor our Mother and Guardian Angel, the Blessed Virgin Mary, by praising our God.
O God Most High and Most Merciful!
You have bestowed to the Church an incomparable object of awe and devotion in the most holy Virgin Mary.
Provide, in Your kindness, that under Her care we may fight fearlessly all the days of our life and triumph over death with no fear.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we humbly beg you.
