I am writing to you today with a request for strength. I need your help to get through this difficult time. I know that you have always been there for me when I needed someone to talk to, and I have felt your presence in my life throughout the years. But now, I need more than just words of encouragement; I need action! I feel like my whole world is falling apart around me, and all I want to do is give up. But God, please don’t let me give up! Give me the courage and strength to keep going, even when it feels like there’s no point in doing so. Please help me find hope again—and remind me that there are still people who love me despite all of this mess going on around me right now! Amen

Short Prayer for Strength
Dear God, please give me strength when I am weak, love when I feel forsaken, courage when I am afraid, wisdom when I feel foolish, comfort when I am alone, hope when I feel rejected, and peace when I am in turmoil.
Father God, I need You. I am weary and I do not have the strength to continue on much longer. My heart is heavy and the load is more than I can bear.
Prayer is a way to be in the presence of God and rest in His strength. In Psalm 62:8 you will find one such example: “[God] gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might He increases strength.” David found himself in a time of need—he was weary, his heart was heavy and the load was more than he could bear. While it is true that when we are weak, God is strong (2 Corinthians 12:10), this does not mean that you should wait until you feel weak before asking Him for help! Rather, pray now as if your life depended on it (which it does).
