Dear Lord Jesus, I thank You for Your wonderful gift of sanctification. As I pray, may the Holy Spirit intercede for me now and always. May He enable me to live for You in total obedience and unreserved personal surrender. In Your holy name I pray, amen.
You don’t want to be a sanctified sinner—for whom all is lost. You want to be sanctified so you can be a vessel fit for the Master’s use. Sanctification, according to the Bible, is instantaneous and progressive. You can work towards it from this very day, and God will magnify His Word in your heart and make you more like Jesus Christ every day.

Prayer For Sanctification
Dear Lord,
I pray for your continued sanctification in my life. I pray that you would continue to take away my sin and replace it with your righteousness. I pray that you would continue to keep me from all evil, and that you would teach me how to do good. Lord, help me be a good servant of yours and make all the decisions that I need to make in order for me to be a better servant for you. In Jesus’ name, amen
Dear Lord,
You are the author of life and light. You are the source of all that is good. I pray for the grace to be holy as you are holy, to be pure and undefiled in my thoughts and words and deeds, to walk in your ways, to live according to your will, and to do all I can to spread your love through this world.
I pray for the grace of self-control, because only that which controls itself can also control others. I pray for the strength to resist temptation; for the wisdom to know what is right or wrong; and for the courage to act on those things which I know are right.
I pray for humility, because no good thing comes from prideful hearts–only evil thoughts, cruel words, and selfish actions. Help me keep my heart humble before you; help me see myself as an instrument in your hands rather than a person who thinks they have their own ideas about how things should go down here on earth.
I pray for perseverance so that I may finish well whatever task you have set before me today–letting go of distractions so that my work can be done with excellence; being steadfast in my commitments so that nothing gets left unfinished or undone; staying focused on
O God, who by the Paschal mystery have set us free from sin, save us and help us to overcome our faults.
We ask you this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
prayer of sanctification and purification
Dear Lord, we come before you to ask that you would sanctify us.
We know that you have called us to be holy, and we want to honor your call by living lives that are pleasing to you. We pray that you would help us remove all sin from our lives, and fill us with your grace. We also pray that if there are areas in which we need improvement, that you would give us the strength and courage to change them.
We thank you for the sacrifice of your Son Jesus Christ on the cross, who lived a perfect life and died for our sins so that we could have eternal life with him in heaven. Thank you for forgiving us of our sins and giving us the opportunity to live forever with him now. We pray for one another as we continue on this journey together. Amen
Blessed Lord,
You have called us to be holy, and to serve as your vessels of honor. We pray for the strength to see our own sinfulness and to strive in all things to be made more like you. Help us to live in a way that honors you, and grant us the grace to be found by those who need you. May we be made worthy of your presence, in Jesus’ name we pray. Amen
prayer points on consecration
Before the healing power of God can flow into a body, you have to re-present that body to God; you have to bring it under the loving rule of Jesus once again. Referring to the illustration on electricity, Sanford went on to say, “The same principle is true of the creative energy of God.
The whole universe is full of it, but only the amount of it that flows through our beings will work for us.” Consecration is healing the “connection,” so that God’s power can flow into our bodies. So we pray something along these lines:
I present my body to Jesus Christ as a living sacrifice; I present the members of my body to Jesus Christ as instruments of righteousness. My body has been bought with the blood of Jesus Christ and it belongs to him.
My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. I renounce every way I have misused and abused my body; I bring all those acts under the atoning blood of Jesus Christ.
I rededicate my body and all its parts to the loving rule of Jesus Christ; I dedicate and consecrate my body to him in every way. I ask for the blood of Christ to cleanse my body and make it holy once more. Holy Spirit, come and fill your temple now; restore my body under the complete dominion of Jesus Christ.
