Dear Heavenly Father,

We know that we have been born with sin and separated from you, but because of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, we can be forgiven and made whole again.
We ask that you would please forgive our sins and help us to turn away from them. You know all of our thoughts, words, actions and motives – so we ask that you would reveal any areas where we have strayed from your will in our life or where we may need healing or change. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.
One God created the heavens and the earth, and everything in them and beyond them.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was conceived by God the Father before the worlds were even created. Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made; of the same essence as the Father through Whom all things were made. Who came down from heaven and took human form through the miraculous union of the Holy Spirit and Mary. He took our place on the cross under Pontius Pilate, dying and being laid to rest. According to the Scriptures, on the third day He rose again; He ascended into heaven, and He now sits at the right hand of the Father. And then He will return to judge the living and the dead at His glorious second coming, and His kingdom will last forever. I have faith in the Holy Spirit, who is the Lord and the Giver of Life, who was foretold by the Prophets, and who proceeds from the Father and the Son. I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins, and I hope in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.
