PRAYER FOR MY DAUGHTER

I have a 7 year old daughter who has been struggling with learning disabilities in school. This has been going on for the past 2 years, and it’s been very difficult for her and the entire family. I would love to hear prayers for my daughter’s health and academic success.

Please feel free to leave your own prayer intentions in the comments section below!

Speak, O Lord, for Your servant is listening.

I am your servant. Please guide me, teach me and give me the strength to face the challenges ahead. I know that You are listening; please help me to listen and hear Your voice so that I may follow Your path. Be with my family at this time of sorrow and grief; comfort us in our need for each other’s support in this time of great sorrow. Help us all to have compassion for ourselves and others who are hurting from this loss. Bring peace into the hearts of those who mourn their loved ones lost in this tragedy by giving them comfort through prayer, hope through faith in You and courage through knowing that You will work all things out according to Your plan for their life here on earth as well as eternity hereafter with You at home in heaven where there is no more pain or suffering or death but only joy unspeakable because we will share eternity together!

Father, You have given me this wonderful daughter to love and cherish. Grant that we will work together toward our common goal of becoming like Jesus Christ. When we face challenges that test her faith, help us to trust in You and rely on each other’s support.

As parents, it is our responsibility to encourage our children in their spiritual growth by setting a good example and helping them understand the principles of Christianity. At times when you feel discouraged or overwhelmed with the difficulties of raising a family, remember how much God loves you both! And remember that He has chosen you to be her parent because He knows that you can do this job well.

Remember too that your child needs the same things from you now as she did when she was young: love, protection, security and comfort–just like all children need these things from their parents.

Be there for your child whenever she needs someone who cares about her feelings or wants some guidance or direction in life so she can grow up healthy both physically and spiritually.

Help us accept each other’s differences in temperament, personality, opinions and convictions.

We pray that we will accept each other’s differences in temperament, personality, opinions and convictions. That acceptance of these differences is a key to a healthy relationship. Without it, conflicts arise which may lead to a breakdown of communication.

Acceptance does not mean agreement with another person’s views or beliefs; it means accepting their right to have them! Understanding each other’s perspectives is important so that you can better understand why someone believes what they do and where they are coming from when expressing themselves.

Guide my daughter and I in the way of godliness so that through fidelity and perseverance we will bear fruit in season and not waver or become discouraged in times of trial.

  • Guide my daughter and I in the way of godliness so that through fidelity and perseverance we will bear fruit in season and not waver or become discouraged in times of trial.
  • Grant us wisdom to understand your will for our lives, that we might know how to live according to it.
  • Lead us by your Spirit into all truth, so that we may know you more fully and love you more dearly; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Give us courage and strength to walk by faith as well as confidence to walk by sight– knowing that we can count on you to be there for us no matter what changes come our way.

We ask that you guide and protect our children, and help them to find the best path for their lives. We pray that they will grow up healthy and strong and make wise choices.

We thank you for all of your blessings, especially those in our lives whom we love very much. Especially [your daughter’s name]–you’re such a blessing to us! Help us keep her safe, healthy, and happy as she grows up into an adult woman who knows how wonderful she is!

Give us courage and strength to walk by faith as well as confidence to walk by sight– knowing that we can count on you to be there for us no matter what changes come our way.

Give us a sense of comfort in knowing that wherever we go, You are there before us, behind us, beside us and within us!

God is with us always. He is near to those who call upon him, to help in times of trouble. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they shall bear you up in their hands lest you dash your foot against a stone (Psalm 91:11-12).

In Jesus’ name I pray–Amen.

God is listening. You can believe that.

God loves you, and he wants to help you.

God loves everyone in the world, and he wants to help them too.
