I know I haven’t always been the best person, and I know that I don’t always get things right. But I want to make a change, and I want to do better. 4 Prayers for Forgiveness - Powerful Healing Words!

Dear God,

Thank you for your love, and for forgiving me. I am so thankful for the way that you’ve helped me in my life, and I know that I will always be grateful to you. Please help me to be a better person, so that others can see the goodness of your light through my actions. Help me to remember to thank you for all the things that You have done and continue doing for us every day!

I know that I am not perfect.

  • I know that I am not perfect.
  • I understand that my mistakes are not the end of the world.
  • I am willing to take responsibility for what I have done, even if it is hard or painful.

Thank you for loving me the way I am.

You’re accepted just as you are. You don’t have to be perfect, or a certain way, or anything other than what you are. God loves and accepts you just the way you are.

God wants you to be happy. In fact, God’s greatest desire for all of us is that we would be happy with our lives and whatever situation we find ourselves in. When we’re unhappy it can feel like there is something more outside of ourselves which will bring us happiness; but God wants us to realize that true happiness comes from Him alone—and He wants us to let go of any expectations or desires other than what He has planned for us because they won’t make us happier than our time with Him will!

God is there for anyone who calls on His name (Romans 10:13). We do not need anything else besides His love and mercy—these two things should suffice any time we feel as though our lives aren’t “good enough” without something else added onto them!

Forgive me of my sins and help me to forgive others.

Forgive me of my sins and help me to forgive others. Forgive us as we have forgiven others, for we also know that we have been forgiven by God. We do not want to hold ourselves back from loving others, but when we are hurt or grieved, it is hard for us to love them in return. Help us learn how to love those who hurt us with the same measure of forgiveness that you have showed unto us through Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Help me to be a better person and follow Your path.

Forgiveness is a process. It doesn’t happen overnight, and it’s not something that you do for someone else. It’s for yourself—to help you heal from the pain caused by your anger, resentment and bitterness.

Dear God: Help me to be a better person and follow Your path.

Lord, I love You and need Your love in my life.

Forgiveness is a choice to let go of the past and live in the present. It’s not saying that what happened was OK or even acceptable, but rather that you are willing to put your pride aside and let go of anger and resentment. Forgiveness is not easy, but it’s a necessary part of life if you want peace—both with yourself and with others.

Short Prayer For Hard Times

I praise you, Lord, as the God who can do the impossible. Everything is in your control. In lieu of relying on my own skills, I would rather have faith in Yours. Help me to see my problems from Your vantage point. Please direct my attention to You and Your might. I hope to have the faith and perseverance of Joshua and Caleb, who relied on You despite their dire circumstances (Numbers 14:7-9). Reading, believing, and acting on what I find in Your Word are my responsibilities. Here I come to You today with my problem [insert current challenge here]. Assist me in putting my trust in You rather than my fear of this situation. I hereby affirm my trust in Your ability to keep Your promises to me. If I have any problems in life, you will be there to help me through them. You have great strength and power, and you are honest and righteous.

With You by my side, I need not be afraid. No matter how challenging the situation, I will remain strong and brave. Because the Lord my God goes before me, I will not be frightened or disheartened (Joshua 1:9). You have promised me that you’ll never abandon me (Joshua 1:5). No, it’s not necessary for me to understand everything. The optimal course of action for me is one that you are already familiar with. I will not resort to any artificial means in an attempt to replicate what You have accomplished. Prove Your omnipotence to me. Help me learn to rely on God and to pray prayers that bring about miraculous outcomes. I put my trust in Your ability to remove any barrier that has been placed in my path. Like Joshua, I know that wherever I go, You will give me land to inhabit (Joshua 1:3). You are the means by which we drive our adversaries back, and under your banner we trample our enemies underfoot. Neither my bow nor my sword can save me now, but you have brought us triumph over our foes and made our adversaries look foolish. Every day, we put our faith in God and sing praises to his name (Psalm 44:5-8).

To you, O Lord, belong my share and my cup; you have settled my lot. I must have inherited something wonderful, because the boundary lines all fell in nice spots. I will give thanks to the Lord, for he is my counselor; even when I sleep, my mind finds me wise. The Lord is at the forefront of my mind at all times. With him by my side, I can face any challenge head-on. Since you will not leave me in the grave, nor will you allow your Holy One to see decay, my heart is glad and my tongue is joyful, and my body also will rest securely. You have shown me the way of life; you will make me glad in your presence; at your right hand are pleasures that will last forever (Psalm 16:5-11). Amen. In the name of Jesus.

“Faith accomplishes the impossible because it entrusts God to act on our behalf, and for God, nothing is out of reach. What a tremendous resource faith is, unrestricted and boundless in its potential. What we ask of God will surely come to pass if we can rid ourselves of doubt and make unbelief an alien in our hearts. Praying is an act of trust in God and in God’s plan for the world. The only one who can move mountains is God, but with enough faith and prayer, even God can be moved.”
