Dear Lord, I am writing my prayer to greet you on the day of my 90th birthday. I know that I have lived a long life, but it is not longer than I can bear. My days are growing heavy; my strength is waning, but my spirit is willing to continue. So as I am entering this season of my life, please send me someone who can be patient with me and understand when my memory fails me and when I will not be able to work hard at what used to be my passions. Lord, we thank you for the wonder of this day. We know that You have great things in store for us, and that We should celebrate the joys of our life.
For all its ups and downs, the laughter and pain, this has been a day that brought about so much more than we could ever ask for. It is with gratitude and love that We give thanks to You for the 90 years that others might have deemed to be too many. But here, with our family and friends who love us so dearly, We say thank you. Thank you for this day which has brought praise into our lives.

Your will be done in our lives and those of the ones whom we hold dear.” A grand 90th birthday was marked by a day of prayer for Pastor and Mrs Lovely Hall. At their home recently, twenty ministers from ten different denominations united to pray with the couple. Those present prayed that the Lord would give the Halleys strength and health, wisdom in taking care of things, joy in living life to the fullest and eternal bliss in heaven.
