Novena Prayer To St Rita
Dear St. Rita,
you are the patron saint of impossible causes.
You are a miracle worker and have been known to perform miracles for those who call upon you for help. I am in desperate need of your assistance in this matter, so please intercede on my behalf with God. I pray that through your prayers, God will hear my prayers and answer them favorably. I know that it is difficult to ask for a miracle, but you are there for us in our time of need and always ready to help us. Please pray for me so that God will grant my request. Thank you St Rita!
Dear St. Rita,
You know how much I love you, and I want to share my love with the world. Please help me to find my place in this world and make a difference for others. Please help me to be able to do good things for others without feeling overwhelmed or distracted by my own needs. Help me to stay focused on what is important, and guide me towards finding that perfect job that will allow me to bring joy into other people’s lives while also bringing happiness into my own life. Help me find the job that will let me help people in need while also being able to take care of myself financially—a job where I can feel like an important part of something bigger than myself, but still be able to take care of myself so that I am not overwhelmed by responsibility or stress.
Please help me find the perfect opportunity where I can use my talents and skills to make a difference in someone’s life while also making an impact on society as a whole by doing good things for people who need it most!
O Great St. Rita, who didst suffer so much with patience, obtain for us the grace to bear our own and others’ troubles with like patience.
Obtain for us from God the pardon of our sins and the grace to be faithful in His service until death.
Obtain for us also the special favor which we now implore, if it be for the glory of God and the welfare of our souls.
Let us not lose heart, but pray ever more fervently to Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen!
St. Rita,
You were a woman who was dedicated to doing God’s work, and you did it well. You lived a life of prayer, contemplation, and service to others. And you suffered greatly for it all—but you never gave up!
In your own words: “I want nothing else than what God wants.”
You were so devoted to doing God’s will that He rewarded your faithfulness with many miracles—and He will reward ours as well.
We ask that you intercede on our behalf today and help us see the good in every situation—even if we are not able to see it right away. We know that there is always something good and holy at work behind every difficulty in life; we simply need patience to find it.
St. Rita, pray for us!
St. Rita, Holy Mother of God, you who were so devoted to your husband that you followed him even to prison, help me to love my husband as you loved yours.
I ask for this grace through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen
Novena Prayer to St. Rita
St. Rita, patroness of hopeless cases, please intercede for me that I may obtain the grace to accept with serenity the trials and disappointments of life. Help me to understand that each experience of suffering can become a source of spiritual growth and self-knowledge if I let it work within me in a positive way. Help me to see how these trials can make me more compassionate toward others who suffer. Pray that I will never be one of those who try to avoid pain by thinking only of themselves or by blaming others; rather, help me to go through life openheartedly accepting what comes my way and giving others the benefit of the doubt when they’re not perfect either!
