We thank you for the food that nourishes us and gives strength to our bodies. We thank you for the water that quenches our thirst and helps us stay hydrated. We thank you for the air that keeps us breathing, and for all of its other uses.
We thank you for providing us with shelter from the elements, whether it is a house or an apartment or a tent or even just a blanket on the ground. We thank you that we are able to rest safely at night, with no fear of being attacked by wild animals or other humans who might wish us harm.
We know that at times it may seem like things are hard in this world—but we know that there’s always hope if we look around and see what good there is among all of the bad things that happen out there. And when bad things do happen, we can trust in your plan for our lives and know that whatever happens will be okay because it’s part of your bigger plan for each one of us as individuals (and as groups).
