The only thing that would make the situation worse is if the pastor were to resign. It is imperative that he does not do so, as it would divide the church and create an even bigger scandal than already exists. The pastor has been a good man and is a good leader who deserves to keep his position until he feels comfortable stepping down on his own terms. I am confident that everyone at New Creation Church will remain loyal to our Pastor, Dr. Nicholas Jansen, throughout this process!
