Prayer For Mercy And Favour

    Dear God,

We are gathered here today to ask for your mercy on the world. We know that you have great power and wisdom, and we humbly ask that you use those gifts to make our world a better place.

We pray that you would guide us in our decisions and keep us safe from harm. We pray that you would help us to see the good in others, even when it’s hard. And we pray that you would guide us in our relationships with each other—that we can be kind and respectful of one another, and give each other the benefit of the doubt when we disagree.

We know that sometimes it feels like there is too much evil in this world for any good to come of it; but we also know that there is more good than evil in most people’s hearts. Please continue to guide them toward helping others rather than harming them—and teach us how to do the same!

    Dear Lord,

I come before you today to ask for your mercy and favour. I know that I am not worthy of such things, but I hope that you will hear my prayer in the same way that you heard the prayers of your disciples when they were asked to pray on behalf of their friend who was sick.

I have sinned against you and against my fellow man. Please forgive me for my sins and bless me with the strength and courage to do better in the future.

Thank you for hearing my prayer, Father

Prayer Points For Mercy And Favour With Bible Verses

    Dear Lord,

I humbly ask for your mercy and favour. I pray that you would guide me and those around me at all times, and that you would give us the strength to do what is right when it seems impossible. Please help me to have the courage to face my fears and my shortcomings, and to forgive those who have wronged me.

I pray especially for forgiveness for all those who have hurt me in any way, knowingly or unknowingly. Forgive them for their actions, and help them to find peace in their hearts so that they may also find peace in this world.

And finally, dear Father, please give me the grace to accept your will for my life without question or hesitation. And if there is something you wish for me not to do or become… please give me strength to walk away from it today!

    Dear Lord,

I come to you today in my time of need. I ask for mercy and favor in the arms of your grace. Please guide me through this conflict with wisdom and understanding.

I know that you are a God of peace and love, but sometimes things get messy when we try to figure out what’s best for everyone involved. I pray that you will guide me with your wisdom and understanding so that I may know what is best for myself and for those who are affected by my decisions.

    In Jesus’ name, Amen

O Lord, our heavenly Father, who hast mercifully favored us with the knowledge of thy grace and love in the Gospel; Grant us so to seek after thee, that we may be found of thee; and pardon us for our sinful neglect of thy person and services. Let the fire of thy holy love enkindle our hearts; and then shall we be enabled to walk worthy of the vocation wherewith thou hast called us. We beseech thee also, O Lord, to bless this whole land with thy goodness, that all unto whom thou sendest it may be truly thankful. Blessed art thou, O Lord God of Israel; who only doest wondrous things. Amen.
