I Said A Prayer For You Today

I said a prayer for you today
and know God must have heard.
I felt the answer in my heart,
although He spoke no word!

I didn’t ask for wealth or fame,
I knew you wouldn’t mind.
I asked him to send treasures,
of a far more lasting kind!

I asked that He be near you,
at the start of each new day;
to grant you health and blessings
and friends to share your way!

I asked for happiness for you,
in all things great and small.
But it was for His loving care,
I prayed the most of all!

This post features I Said A Prayer For You Today Song, and I Said A Prayer For You Today Quote.

I said a prayer for you today. I wish I could have been there with you and I’m sorry that things haven’t gotten better yet. It’s so hard to deal with these things on our own, but don’t lose hope! We’re in this together.

I Said A Prayer For You Today

I said a prayer for you today. I know God must have heard. I felt the answer in my heart, although He spoke no word; I didn’t ask for wealth or fame but only that you be happy and at peace with yourself.

And know God must have heard.

God is always listening to your prayers. He will answer them if you ask Him, and if you ask in faith. If there’s something you need, God will give it to you. Even if it’s something big and hard to get, like a new job or a relationship with someone who is difficult or impossible for most people in the world (like John Travolta), God will help you find that thing if He wants to give it to you.

If you want something from God and believe that He can do it for you, then He’ll make sure that those things happen just like he promised in His Word!

I felt the answer in my heart,

The answer is in your heart.

Even if you don’t hear it spoken, or see it written, or read it—the answer that is right for you will be there in your heart.

It’s not something that can be easily explained without sounding crazy, but trust me when I say that I felt the answer in my heart when he asked me out on our first date (which was really just an excuse to get pizza). And now look at us! We’re married with two kids and a dog.

Although he spoke no word!

Although he spoke no word, God gave you a sign.

You heard the answer in your heart.

God spoke to you without words.

I didn’t ask for wealth or fame,

I know you’re probably thinking, “I didn’t ask for a thing!” But I think we all have an idea of what we want out of life. We just don’t always realize it.

That’s why it’s important not to ask for material things like wealth or fame—so often those things come at the cost of our happiness and sometimes even the happiness of others. Instead, try asking for things that will make you happy in this moment: a good book; a nice cup of tea; time with loved ones; etc. And when it comes down to it, if there’s something specific on your wish list (beyond basic necessities), don’t be afraid to ask! You never know what might happen when you do…

(I knew you wouldn’t mind).

I knew you wouldn’t mind because you are a good person. I knew that even though you weren’t in the room, that didn’t make any difference to you; but it did to me.

I knew you wouldn’t mind because you are a kind person. You deserve quiet time for yourself when the rest of us are around; but we don’t think about it like that, because we’re selfish and we take advantage of your kindness without thinking about what’s best for your needs too.

We should make more time for ourselves, so that we can enjoy each other’s company even more than we already do—and maybe even say hi every once in a while!

I asked him to send treasures,

When I was younger, I would make a wish list of things that I wanted to have in my life. At first, it was small things like new shoes or a new coat. As time went on and my love for God grew deeper, the list began to include more spiritual desires: peace, love and joy.

At some point along this journey, I realized that these three treasures were not just something we needed — they were also something we could pray for someone else to receive too!

And so over the years, when people asked me how they could pray (or what they should pray), I would tell them: “Ask God to send treasures!”

I would say this because those three words — “treasures” — describe exactly what our Heavenly Father has planned for us as His children. For example:

Of a far more lasting kind!

Of a far more lasting kind!

I asked that he would be near you;

That he would protect, guide and keep you;

That he would give to you his comfort and peace;

That he would grant you all things good in his sight.

I asked that He’d be near you,

I asked that He’d be near you,

so you’d know He cares.

I asked that He’d lift you up,

help you to stay firm.

I asked that His presence would be with you,

even when I’m not there.

And then I prayed for myself because I think we’re all in this together and it’s hard work being a human sometimes and I need my faith too.

At the start of each new day;

At the start of each new day, I offer up a prayer for you.

I pray that you’ll be given opportunities to make decisions about how you want to live your life.

I pray that as you face challenges and difficulties, people will support and encourage you to keep going.

I pray that when it seems like no one else understands what it’s like for you in this moment, I can step forward and let them know how much I care about them—and then do something concrete to show them my concern (like sending flowers).

To grant you health and blessings,

To grant you health and blessings,

Health is a precious gift that we often take for granted. But the truth is, without good health we are unable to do many of the things that make us happy. When our bodies are healthy and strong we can enjoy sports or outdoor activities comfortably, work at our jobs without too much stress on our bodies and minds, travel with less pain or discomfort from physical conditions like arthritis or fibromyalgia (a chronic muscle condition), spend time with friends and family without worrying about making them sick by spreading germs around — basically live life the way it was meant to be lived!

So when I say “health” in this prayer I mean more than just physical wellness; I also mean emotional well-being as well as mental fitness so that we have clarity of thought when making important decisions in life. Even though these qualities may seem intangible — especially when compared to something like having an operation performed successfully — they are still vital aspects of being human beings which deserve attention from God just as much as anything else does!

And friends to share your way!

What do you think about when you hear the word “friend”? Maybe a friend of yours comes to mind, or maybe someone who has been there for you through some tough times. The truth is that friends are important, and they can make such a difference in our lives. The Bible says: “A friend loves at all times” (Proverbs 17:17). That means that even when we’re having a rough time and need help with something, our friends will still be there for us—they won’t give up on us or stop caring about us just because we’re having a hard time. We need people like this in our lives!

People who have healthy relationships with others are happier than those who don’t have any friends at all–or worse yet, who only have mean ones! When people spend time together doing things they enjoy doing like going shopping or playing video games together (instead of only being mean), then everyone feels better after spending time together because it gives them something fun to look forward too instead of just arguing all day long without making peace between each other.”

I asked for happiness for you,

I asked for happiness for you.

I know that’s not what you want to hear right now, but it’s true.

You see, happiness is the best gift of all! And it doesn’t have to cost anything. It can be as simple as choosing a positive thought over a negative one; or taking some time to enjoy the little things in life like watching your favorite show or petting your dog while she snores on your lap. Happiness comes in many forms and isn’t merely limited to material objects like houses or cars—it includes friends and family too!

Happiness is also more important than money because money won’t make you happy if there are other factors preventing that from happening (e.g., stress). On top of this, having enough wealth will not ensure joy either because there may still be unresolved issues in life affecting our mental health which leads back into financial concerns anyway; thus making this an endless cycle where both components need attention together rather than separately if we really want long-term success at improving our quality of life overall.”

In all things great and small.

I prayed the most of all!

In all things great and small, I prayed the most of all!

But it was for His loving care,

You may not have noticed, but today I prayed for you. I asked Him to send treasures in your life and happiness to fill your days. I asked Him to give you strength and courage, health and wisdom. But most of all, I asked Him to show Himself as the Lord who loves you—the One we serve together with all our hearts.

In this busy world where it’s easy to get distracted by work or sports or friends, I want you know that He is there with us every step of our journey through life together. And when we’re down on ourselves or struggling with our feelings about something ugly that happened yesterday or what may happen tomorrow (or even next month), let’s remember that He is there with us too—and He wants us!

I prayed the most of all!

I prayed the most of all! I said a prayer for you today, and I felt the answer in my heart. I didn’t ask for wealth or fame. Instead, I asked him to send treasures that money can’t buy—the greatest gift of all: hope, faith and new beginnings.

I Said A Prayer For You Today Song

I Said A Prayer For You Today Quote

Dear God, I said a prayer for you today. And know that God must have heard, because I felt the answer in my heart although he spoke no word. I didn’t ask for wealth or fame (I knew you wouldn’t mind). Instead, I asked him to send treasures of a far more lasting kind!

Dear God, I said a prayer for you today.

Dear God,

I said a prayer for you today.

You are listening to this song right now. The world is listening to this song right now, and we are all praying to you. And that means that you can hear our prayers more clearly than any other time in history! You know what we need—you know what each person needs—and if they ask for it, you will give it to them because you love us so much. You want us all to be happy, healthy and safe while on Earth so that when we go back up into Heaven again, we will be able to spend eternity with each other happily ever after.

And know God must have heard.

While it’s true that we can’t always know the answers to our prayers, God does hear us, and He knows the needs of each one of us. And when He has answered our prayers, we can be sure that His answer is best for us. Remember, “The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works” (Psalm 145:9).

I felt the answer in my heart although he spoke no word.

You see, I had no idea of what to say or do next. I wandered around my house for hours, trying everything from meditation to prayer in an attempt to connect with him. And then one morning, as I was getting ready for work, the answer came to me: it was time for a song.

Their baby boy had just left them and they needed to feel something positive. They needed something that would bring comfort and joy into their lives again. So that’s when it hit me—a song!

I didn’t ask for wealth or fame (I knew you wouldn’t mind)

I didn’t ask for wealth or fame (I knew you wouldn’t mind),

I asked that he be near you at the start of each new day;

To grant you health and blessings and friends to share your way;

I prayed that he would bring you strength, endurance, faith and patience in your daily living.

I asked Him to send treasures of a far more lasting kind!

God gives us the most important things in life:

  • Love. He gave you a family, friends and people who care about you to give you love and support.
  • Hope. There’s always something to look forward to, whether it’s a new job or going on vacation this summer!
  • Health is one of the most important things we have because it’s so easy for life to get hard without good health. When we’re sick we can’t work out as much or even leave our houses sometimes! So let’s all try our best not only take care of ourselves but also help others whenever possible!

I asked that he be near you at the start of each new day;

I asked that he be near you at the start of each new day; that he would guide you in your thoughts and actions and bring you joy.

I asked that he be with you when your sadness comes, when it’s hard to see beyond tomorrow, when worries overwhelm you and friends are far away. I prayed for Him to help carry your load if only for a short time until we meet again.

To grant you health and blessings and friends to share your way;

The song begins with the narrator praying for her friend, “To grant you health and blessings and friends to share your way;

May you be wealthy in love, not gold; and may all who know you love you today.”

I asked for happiness for you in all things great and small,

I asked for happiness for you in all things great and small,

and I believe that joy can be found no matter the situation. Happiness is a state of mind, not a circumstance.

Remember: you are who you choose to be! If you’re not happy right now, it’s up to you to change that.

But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.

But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.

As a mother and father, we want our children to know that they are loved by us. We hope they will feel loved by us, not only when we tell them how much we love them, but when they see how much effort we put into showing that love through our actions. In the same way, God wants us to know and feel His love for us in every aspect of our lives. The best way to show your love for God is by praying for His love for you around everything else in life—including throughout each day!

Conclusion

And so it was that I prayed for you, my friend. And if you ever see me in a better place than this one, please let me know!
