I had a dream that Jesus was coming back, and I was so excited. But then a few days later I realized that it wasn’t a dream at all—it was a vision of the future. I’ve been trying to figure out what it means ever since.

It was so weird to see Jesus in my room! He was just standing there in my doorway, smiling. I’m not sure if other people saw him or not, but I know they couldn’t see him because they were looking right at him and didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. But he wasn’t invisible—he looked like any other man would look standing there in my doorway: tall and thin with long hair and beard, wearing a robe with sandals on his feet.

In the Bible, Jesus appeared to many people, including his disciples and all the apostles. He also appeared to his mother Mary when she was on her way to visit her cousin Elizabeth during her pregnancy with Jesus’s twin brother, John the Baptist (Luke 1:26-38). Mary Magdalene saw Jesus after he rose from death (John 20:11-18).

In this article, I’d like to share what happens when you have dreams about Jesus Christ and what it means for you.

Have you ever had dreams about Jesus? If so, what did they look like? How did it feel like?

But then again… maybe he wasn’t really there? Maybe it was just some kind of hallucination? It’s hard for me to say for sure because this is all still very new to me, but even though I felt like I was awake at the time (and still do), it all feels like some kind of dream now that it’s over…

The dream I had last night was so vivid and real. I could have sworn that Jesus Christ was standing right next to me. We were at a friend’s house, and he was telling me how hungry he was.

“I’ve been fasting for the past three days,” he said, “and now it’s time for me to eat.”

Then he reached into his pocket and pulled out a $10 bill. He handed it to me and said, “Go buy some food for me.”

“But I don’t know where to go buy food,” I replied.

“Just walk outside and you’ll find something,” he said with a smile on his face.

So I did as instructed: I walked outside, but all that was there were trees and bushes growing everywhere around us (we were somewhere in the middle of nowhere). It looked like we were in the middle of nowhere!

So then I went back inside and told Jesus what happened—but when I came back inside, he wasn’t there anymore! What does this mean?
