In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen. Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that You would send men and women who have a heart for worship to join me on this worship team. I cannot lead these people alone, Lord, and trying to do it all has made me weary. Send me skilled and glad volunteers to help me in leading this church in worship.
As we have gathered this morning, what do you think the pastor would like to hear when the worship service is over? That you had a good time. Or that you enjoyed the song selection. Probably not because it might be wrong; it was just nice. What do you think he/she would REALLY like to hear you say? For me, “It was awesome!” or anything even close to that meaning is music to my ears. Today, I want to talk about how we can have praise and worship experiences that results in our services being awesome for all involved.
Prayer For Praise And Worship Team
O Lord, our God, we gather together today to give you thanks and praise your greatness. We praise your mighty works to the whole world. We praise you for your wonderful deeds. Your power is limitless, your wisdom is unparalleled, your grace is overwhelming, your love is never failing.
Heavenly Father, today we are preparing to build a team that uses you as a foundation. We ask that your presence be felt, and that you fill this space with joy and comradery. Lord, help us focus on the tasks at hand. Help each person know when to step up, and know when to take a break.
Dear Lord,
We pray for the members of our praise and worship team.
We thank you for the gifts that each of them brings to this ministry. We ask that you bless them with your wisdom and guidance as they prepare for their performances. May their music bring glory to your name and help us all to experience your love and grace! In Jesus’ name, amen.
Lord, we lift up our praise and worship team to You. We thank You for their efforts and dedication in spreading Your love through song and dance. Let them be an example of your glory to all who see them.
