Prayer For Building A New Church

How To Prayer For Building A New Church I always feel that there are no requirements to build a house of worship and it is enough to collect the required amount, because it often happens that they can not collect enough money for material. Therefore, prayers are necessary in order to get the required amount of money.

Lord, I pray that you will bless this congregation as they plan to build a new church. May our plans reflect your guidance and wisdom. Please give us the wisdom to use our time, talents and treasures wisely. Help us to reach out for your grace and help so that we can glorify You in all that we do. Thank You for giving us what we need at this time to accomplish Your will; help us to focus on Your purpose for our life and this project.

Lord, we ask today that you bless this undertaking of your people and show us your face. We do not know what lies ahead nor what difficulties we may yet face. Give us courage to stand for righteousness and peace in these turbulent times, especially as we seek to serve you and our neighbors who are hungry for God’s love. And let the Holy Spirit be our guide during all phases of this building project. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.”

Prayer For Building A New Church

Lord, I commit to praying diligently for this project. Our Lord and Savior, please bless this new building project to provide ministry for our Church Family and the families in the community that will promote growth, development, relaxation and enjoyment.

Dear God,

We come to you today with a prayer for the building of a new church. We’re so excited about this new project and we know that you will be too!

We know that we can’t do anything without your help, so please send us all the people we need to get this project done. Please also bless those who are donating their time and money to help us realize our dream of having a place where we can worship you, share the good news of Jesus Christ, and grow together as a congregation.

We pray that the Lord will bless all who are involved in this project from conception through completion. We pray for their health and well-being, especially those who are working onsite at any given time during construction. And finally, we pray for wisdom for all involved in determining how best to use the funds donated toward accomplishing our goal of building a new church.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

We thank you, Lord, for this time of prayer. We come to you with open hearts and minds, ready to listen and learn from you. We have a request and a blessing to ask: we would like to build a new church. We know that churches are built by communities who work together towards a common goal, but this goal is not just about our own needs—it is also about your will for us as a community, and it is about what you want for all people everywhere who need your love. For this reason, we ask for your guidance in building this new church so that it will be an instrument of your grace in our lives, so that it will be an expression of your love for all people everywhere who need your love.

We pray:

Lord God almighty, hear our prayer. Lord Jesus Christ, hear our prayer. Holy Spirit, hear our prayer. You are holy; You are holy; You are holy; You alone are worthy of praise!

Dear God,

We are here to ask you to help us build a new church. We know that this is a big undertaking, and we are not sure how it will go. But we believe in you and your love for us, and we believe that if you can mend the broken hearts of people who don’t even know they need mending, then you can certainly help us build our church.

Please give us the strength to do this work. Please help us find the money needed for construction materials and labor costs. Please give our families peace during this time as they struggle to get through without their usual income from their jobs. Give us inspiration for what kind of building should be built, who should be hired to do the building, and how much it should cost. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Dear Lord,

We come to you today to ask for your blessing on the new church we are building. We want to build a place where people can come together in peace and worship you. We hope that this church will be a place of healing, reconciliation, and peace. It is our prayer that this church will be a place where all are welcome, no matter their race or religion. We pray that we can show love and respect for each other, even if we disagree on some things. We pray that this church will be a beacon of light in the world, shining with love and grace.

We ask these things in Your Holy name, Amen.

Dear Lord,

We come before you today to ask for your blessing on our church. As we embark on this new journey, we know that it will be difficult and challenging. We need your guidance and strength to continue to do your work.

We are grateful for all you have done for us in the past, and we look forward to continuing to grow closer to you as we build this new church. Please give us the courage to face any challenges that may arise as we move forward with this project.

In Jesus’ name, amen

Dear God:

We come before you today with hearts full of gratitude for the many blessings we have received from you. We are grateful for our faith, for the opportunity to worship and serve you, and for our lives.

We ask your guidance as we embark on this new endeavor. We know that you have been with us every step of the way and will continue to guide us as we build this church. Please help us to set aside our own agendas and desires so that we may fully focus on your will for this church, as well as all other aspects of our lives.

We pray that you will bless every aspect of this project and all who are involved in it, including those who will attend services at this new space. Bless them with good health and prosperity; bless them with good relationships; bless them with joy; bless them with peace.

Thank you for hearing our prayer today; we feel your presence close at hand and know that everything will work out according to your perfect plan. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Dear Lord,

We come before you, humbled and grateful for your many blessings. We thank you for the gift of this land and for the opportunity to build a house of worship here. We ask that you continue to guide us as we work, that our work will bring glory to your name and be an example of your love to those who see it. We pray that you would bless this building with your presence and use it to bring people into your kingdom. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

A Prayer for the Construction of a New Church or New Building

Scripture Reading:

I Chronicles 16:8-16, Nehemiah 3

Reflections of the Heart:

The God of heaven Himself will help us succeed; therefore, we will arise and build!  We will trust His Word and believe in the Sovereign Lord who always keeps His promises.  Nehemiah 2:20

Scriptural Prayer:

Our Father, we thank You for Your faithful love for us that never ends and Your mercy which never ceases.  They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.  Lord, You are God.  You created the heavens and earth and put everything in place. You made the world to be lived in, not to be a place of empty chaos.  You are the Lord and there is no other.  You publicly proclaim bold promises; You do not whisper obscurities in dark corners.   We thank You for giving our leaders the vision to build.  Thank You for providing the resources for us to build.  Thank You, Father, for being a wall of fire and protection around our congregation, families and those involved in the construction of this new building.

In Jesus’ Name, we command that God’s Kingdom come and God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven for the construction of the (name the facility) project.  We believe that You will make our thoughts agreeable to Your will, so that the plans for this project may be established and succeed.  Your Word, Father, declares that for lack of advice, plans go wrong; but with many advisers there is success.  Therefore, we confess that we will seek the counsel of the godly as we proceed with this project.  We declare that we will write the vision for this new project plainly so that those involved can run and carry the correct message to others.  Father, we expect You to call forth competent and skilled laborers for this project, just as You called forth the artisans for the building of the tabernacle.  We confess that they will be filled with the Spirit of wisdom, understanding and knowledge in all manner of workmanship.  We proclaim that all involved in this project will focus their attention and efforts so that they can successfully complete their assignments and bring glory and honor to Your Name. We decree that favor surrounds this project and we will have good success with local, county and state government agencies, the legal and banking communities and every entity associated in the completion of this project.   Father, we are confident that the new facility will be completed, because You have begun this good work.  Lord, I commit to praying diligently for this project.

Our Lord and Savior, please bless this new building project to provide activities for our Church Family and the families in the community that will promote growth, development, relaxation and enjoyment.  Please provide all of the wisdom, finances, and resources that we will need to build a state-of-the-art facility.  We ask You to provide adequate funding, competent professionals, and skilled laborers for the construction.  Father, stir up the faith in me so that I will walk by faith and not by sight and support this vision through my giving and prayers.

Wonderful Father, please forgive us for questioning the vision You have given to our Pastor, and for not submitting to his/her authority.  Forgive us for having loose lips and speaking idle words against this project.  Forgive us Lord for not coming together as a church body, concerning the building project.  Please forgive us for all of our sins.  Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed.)Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.  As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to show you names or faces of people that you may need to forgive.  As He shows you, say aloud, “I forgive name of person(s).”  Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)

As a Church Family, help us to not yield to temptation; but deliver us from the evil one.

Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power and the glory, the victory and the majesty.  Everything in the heavens and on earth is Yours and this is Your Kingdom.  We adore You as the One who is over all things.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
