The Bible is full of stories about war. In fact, there are over 100 passages that refer to war and conflict. Some of these passages describe the battles between Israel and its enemies. Other passages talk about internal conflicts within Israel or even the Christian church.
The Bible is also filled with examples of people who were able to find peace despite difficult circumstances. In some cases, this meant simply accepting what was happening and trusting that God had a plan for them (see Deuteronomy 1:39–40). In other cases, it meant fighting back against injustice (see 2 Samuel 22:2).
No matter your circumstances or how you choose to respond to them, God’s word will help guide you through any conflict you encounter—whether it be with yourself or with others.
