Bible Verses About Nephilim

The Nephilim were the children of fallen angels and women. They were born prior to the Great Flood described in the Bible. The Nephilim were very strong, tall and powerful beings that possessed extraordinary abilities. They were feared by everyone and some worshipped them as gods.

The Nephilim are believed to be offspring of angels and humans, but their origins are unclear. In the Bible, they are described as giants who lived on Earth before the Great Flood. They may have been involved in some of the events leading up to Noah’s flood, including building the Tower of Babel.

In this article, we will examine what the Bible says about Nephilim and what it means for us today.

Bible Verses About Nephilim

The Bible mentions Nephilim in several places. The first time is in Genesis 6:4, which says that “the Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came into the daughters of man and they bore children to them.” Other verses like Numbers 13:33 and 1 Chronicles 20:6 confirm that Nephilim were a race of giants who lived after the flood. Here’s what Deuteronomy 2:10-11 says about them: “The Emites used to live there—a people strong and numerous, and as tall as the Anakites. Like the Anakites, they too were considered Rephaites” (NIV). Here’s a look at all of these Bible verses about Nephilim.

Genesis 6:4

Genesis 6:4 states, “The Nephilim were on earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.” We know that angels fell from heaven because we have seen it happen before in Isaiah 14:12-15 where Lucifer was cast out by Michael into Tartarus (Satan’s prison). In Job 1:6-7 Satan is called “the Accuser” and he accused Job before God.

The Bible says that angels can disguise themselves as humans or animals (Genesis 6:2-4; 2 Kings 19:35). We see this again today with UFOs being sighted all over our planet by millions every year! It’s no coincidence that these UFO sightings are increasing rapidly now—it’s another signpost pointing us towards Jesus’ return!

Numbers 13:33

This verse, from the book of Numbers, is about Nephilim.

The verse can be found in the Old Testament—specifically, it’s part of the Torah or Pentateuch.

1 Chronicles 20:6

1 Chronicles 20:6 says that the Nephilim were on earth before and after the flood. It says, “And Og king of Bashan came out against them, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei. And the LORD said to Moses, ‘Do not fear him, for I have delivered him into your hand; only you shall not extend your hand against the city of its walls.”

In this verse we see that God delivered Og over to Moses and his men so they could defeat him in battle. We also learn that Nephilim were in existence before and after the flood which means they are still alive today!

Deuteronomy 2:10-11

In Deuteronomy 2:10-11, the Bible says that the Nephilim were “a race of giants.” It says that they were on Earth before and after the Flood. These verses also say there were Nephilim in other lands beyond Canaan.

Joshua 11:21-22

As we saw in the previous verses, the Nephilim were very powerful and dangerous creatures. They were well over 6 feet tall and carried weapons that could cut through armor like they were butter. Even more terrifying is what the Bible says about them:

“They also had breastplates, like breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots, of many horses rushing to battle.” (Joshua 11:4)

The Israelites believed that these giants were descendants of fallen angels who had mated with women on Earth during Noah’s flood. If this is true, then it would mean that these Nephilim carried within them both angelic blood from their fathers as well as human blood from their mothers (or perhaps just one parent). This explains why they were so large and powerful—their mixed heritage gave them incredible strength!

Deuteronomy 3:11

The Bible says that God destroyed the Nephilim because they were wicked. God destroyed them because they were giants. God destroyed them because they were violent, proud, and arrogant. To understand why this happened, we need to turn back to Genesis 6:1-4:

“The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.”

When this passage speaks about giants and violence, it is clearly referring to these beings called Nephilim who lived during Noah’s time. The author explains that these Nephilim had been around since before Noah’s time but that their numbers had grown dramatically after Abraham arrived in Canaan (Genesis 14:5). This was apparently a result of intermarrying between angels and humans in order for Satan’s seedline to remain on earth despite God’s judgment against him for rebelling against Him (Revelation 12:4). In fact, some scholars believe that there may have been more than just two angels involved; instead there could have been hundreds or even thousands! Regardless though… what we do know is that all accounts point towards these beings having been created by intermarriage between fallen angels and humans – not merely a single angelic entity but rather multiple ones acting together under one common goal – which was obviously meant as an insult against our Creator Himself!

The Bible says that the Nephilim were a race of giants who lived on earth before and after the flood.

The Bible says that the Nephilim were a race of giants who lived on earth before and after the flood. They were the offspring of the sons of God and the daughters of men. The Bible even goes as far as to say that it was because of them that God sent a great flood to cleanse His creation from evil.

Bible Verses About Angels Coming To Earth

What is the Nephilim? They are fallen angels, and are more like demons than humans. So why does this creature look very similar to one of us in today’s world? The Nephilim have continued on from generation to generation, passing down their demonic nature through evil actions and immoral living. Genesis 6 shows that there were so many Nephilim around that the Lord decided that it was time for him to wipe out all flesh, save for Noah and his family who was found to be moral.

Conclusion

The Bible says that the Nephilim were a race of giants who lived on earth before and after the flood. They came as a result of angels’ having sexual relations with humans, which produced offspring known as Nephilim.
