Introduction

Moments are a gift from God, and they can be so precious. However, the moments we treasure most are often the hardest to hold onto. When you’re dealing with pain, loss or grief, it might feel like your life is being ripped apart before your eyes. But no matter how tough things get in life, you can find comfort in knowing that God has a purpose for every moment of our lives. Here are some Bible verses about moments to remind us that God is always with us, even during times of suffering and sorrow.

Psalm 23:6

Psalm 23:6 is one of the most quoted verses in the Bible. The verse starts with “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want,” which means that God will give you everything you need; all you have to do is trust him.

The context of this verse is a personal relationship with God. The psalmist wrote it after he had been rescued by God from enemies who wanted to kill him and take away his sheep (the people). He knew that even if other people were trying to hurt him, as long as he trusted in God, he would be okay because God would protect him.

Psalm 118:24

Psalm 118:24 says, “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

This psalm reminds us of God’s faithfulness and His ability to give us strength to stand up when we are tired, keep going when we are weak, and hold on when we are about to fall.

Proverbs 3:5-6

  • “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Ecclesiastes 3:1

In the moments when you feel most alone, God is with you. He is with you in your pain and suffering, and he will never leave you.

In these moments when everything seems to be going wrong, remember that God has a plan for your life. He knows what is best for you, and even though things may seem dark right now, God will guide you through difficult times if we are willing to trust him.

God loves us infinitely more than we can imagine; we can rest assured that he will take care of us as long as we trust him with our hearts (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Cherish every moment.

In each moment, you can find the meaning of life. This is what I have learned from my experience as a Christian and reading the Bible. The Bible teaches us that we should live in the moment, since there is no other way to truly appreciate it.

In one of my favorite passages from the book of Psalms (Psalm 100), King David urges us to “dwell in God’s house forever,” and then he goes on to explain how we should accomplish this:

  • Singing psalms
  • Doing good deeds for others
  • Praising God with joyful hearts

Conclusion

The Bible sayings and verses above all suggest that we should be aware of, and cherish every moment. This is a great takeaway as it is something that is easy to forget in our busy, modern lives.
