A prayer for a mom who lost her son You’re a parent. You know how it feels to see your child hurt. You want to make the pain go away. But sometimes you have to sit back and watch them hurt, because you can’t make it better. And you can’t bring them back. That’s what I thought when my son died…. We will also discuss the short prayer for the loss of a child and catholic prayer for loss of son.
I feel your pain, I lost my son in the very same way. I know it’s not enough to take back the pain but let me be there for you even if it’s just as a friend. You’re not alone and are always welcome in my arms with open arms.
You are not alone. And I am so sorry that you have to be here. I was a missionary in Africa and went on furlough with my family at 8 months pregnant because of bouts of malaria. My second son lived two weeks outside the womb, but an autopsy revealed severe brain damage. So, he doesn’t count in my registry of many children who died (of course).
Prayer For A Mom Who Lost Her Son
Dear God,
We come to you today in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We pray for a mom who lost her son. She is grieving and hurting and we ask that you comfort her in this difficult time. She needs your strength and support now more than ever before. We ask that you give this mom peace and comfort as she goes through this difficult time in her life.
Give this mom strength to get through each day without having any regrets about decisions or actions taken when raising her son. We pray that you will help this mom find comfort in knowing that she did everything possible to raise her son righteously and keep him safe from harm. Give this mom the courage necessary to face each day knowing that there is no one who can take away the love she has for her son even though he is no longer here on earth with them anymore now due to some tragic accident which took place recently while they were all together celebrating Thanksgiving holiday together as family members living under same roof together at home instead where they all belong right now instead where they all belong right now instead where they all belong right now together
Dear God,
We pray for [name of mom]. She is a mother who has lost her son. She misses him so much, and we know that she will never stop loving him. We ask that you give her strength as she heals from this pain, and comfort her when she feels overwhelmed by sorrow. Help her to find peace in your love and hope, no matter how long it takes. We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen

catholic prayer for loss of son
Dear God,
I pray for the mom who lost her son. I pray that she finds comfort and strength in you, and that she knows that you are with her in all of her pain. She is strong and brave, but she needs your guidance to get through this time.
She is not alone in this. She has many people who love her and support her as she grieves the loss of a child.
Please help us all to remember how precious life is, and how fragile it can be, too. Help us to cherish our loved ones while they are still here with us on earth. Help us remember that we are not here forever, so we must make the most of life while we have it!
Amen
