Free sermon series. You can actually give away sermons or a sermon series for free and get people to watch or listen to them. I know pastors who have given away thousands of dollars in sermons and sermon series that they have not even written yet. They gave the audio files away, and then it was up to their marketing team to deliver them to the audience. Many times this method has been used to build email lists, and it works well with online marketing as well. I have also used this method personally for SEO link-building purposes. I recently gave away a sermon series on Digg, which got me a few thousand visitors to my site—no email list—that I was working toward.
You’ve got a big ministry. Sometimes it feels like you’re doing 300 things at once, and you have no time left over to prepare a sermon. Hell, even if you had time, there’s only so many sermons one person can prepare before they start sounding the same. That’s why I make free sermon illustrations for pastors so that you never have an excuse to not preach.
Busy pastors, we know your struggle. You want to share the gospel with your congregation, but you don’t have time to create a sermon from scratch. That’s why we’re here. We’ve done all the hard work for you! All you have to do is find the right sermon for your needs and get started.
Free Sermons For Busy Pastors
Pastors are busy people. A typical week for a pastor might include:
- Preaching twice on Sunday
- Planning the upcoming sermons and services for the following month ahead of time (and perhaps even preparing for what’s in store for Christmas and Easter)
- Organizing and leading a weekly Bible study or prayer meeting
- Visiting members of their congregation in the hospital, at home, at nursing homes, etc.
With all that to contend with, there just isn’t always time to prepare for every sermon. That’s where free online sermons come in. They’re an excellent solution when you need something that’s going to get your congregation thinking and enjoying your message without you having to spend hours preparing it (or even worse, worry that they’re not!). Check out this list of free online sermons that will save you time while helping students learn more about God!

Crosswalk.com
The Crosswalk.com website allows you to listen to two sermons each week from a large selection of preachers from around the world. Pastors who use the NIV (New International Version) translation write sermons that are appropriate for both Catholics and Protestants.
The website allows you to browse or search through their library of sermons by topic or keyword, but you can also subscribe to a specific preacher’s feed if you like his or her style. The length of each sermon is short—usually five or ten minutes—so they’re well suited for listening while driving, exercising or preparing dinner in your kitchen. Most importantly, these are practical messages focused on applying God’s Word in our lives today—not just academic treatments of biblical issues.

Free Sermons To Preach
I’m not a pastor, but I know enough pastors to know that they have it rough. They fill their time with counseling sessions, elders’ meetings, and sermon prep. Then they get to hear the occasional jokester say, “Don’t you just work one day a week?”
As one who “aspires to the office of [elder]” (1 Tim. 3:1), I have a special place in my heart for pastors. In particular, I’m thankful for mine: Randy, Justin, Paul, and Paul. My aim here is to encourage these four men and, in the process, to offer some general counsel on how you can encourage your pastors.
1. Take their sermons to heart.
Though preaching isn’t the whole job, it’s usually what excites pastors the most. I’m sure that’s not universal, but it’s more common than not. This isn’t surprising. Why wouldn’t they enjoy something they spend so much time doing?
In light of this, what’s the best thing you can do? Take your pastor’s sermons to heart. Be attentive. Listen to what they say. We’re blessed to sit under faithful teaching and preaching. Week in and week out, we know our pastors will preach a faithful message from the Bible. This doesn’t mean their sermons are perfect, but it means they’re always meaning to please God in their sermons. They preach “Christ and him crucified” (1 Corinthians 2:2) with no apologies!
2. Don’t despise their correction.
Although my church has never subjected me to church discipline, my pastors have certainly reprimanded me—and rightfully so. Why? I am a sinner and sometimes I say or do things that are unwise. As a result, I was lovingly put in my place. It wasn’t a great feeling, and I didn’t always respond well at first. But it was necessary for my growth, not only as a Christian but as one who aspires to pastoral ministry.
I’m thankful to sit under pastors who are willing to have these tough conversations with both humility and affection.
3. Check in on them—see how they’re doing.
Your pastors are humans. They sin just like you do. They have struggles, pains, and shortcomings. Pastors aren’t super-Christians but have simply been called by God to be under-shepherds. So we should check on them often.
Pastors are not excluded from temptation. They’re still susceptible to discouragement and depression. We need pastors. But you know what? Pastors need their congregants.
I’ve heard it said a million times: pastors’ most difficult days are Mondays. They preach and sometimes feel like garbage. That’s a perfect time to call them or send them a simple text message. Find creative ways to affirm how much you value them. Don’t do any of this just to appease or flatter them. The goal is their encouragement and edification, not yours.
Your pastors—hopefully a plurality of them!—take great care in watching over your soul, as the author of Hebrews says (13:17). It’s a job, sure. But more than that, it’s a divine calling. Not just anyone can be a pastor. Not just anybody can be an undershepherd. Not just anybody has the God-given capacity to preach and teach, counsel and shepherd, model and lead.
Friends, if you’re in a healthy church—and I hope you are—every now and then take time to text, call, or meet up with your pastor. You’ll never truly understand how much it means for them to hear your encouragement.
A free sermon site that provides a full range of options is the best way to ensure your church has access to everything they need when they need it. Whether you’re looking for help with sermon texts or just want some ideas on what to say next Sunday morning, these sites are worth checking out!
Easy Sermons To Preach
Easy sermons are widely available on the internet. Some are so easy that some Christians tend to forget to read the Bible first and rely solely on what they can find on the internet. This behavior will cause the supposed easy sermons to become complacent, empty, and dry preaching or sermons.
With this in mind, we compiled the best easy sermons you can use in preaching that are solely based on the Bible. And we encourage you to read your Bible and make it your primary reference as you go on with this article.
What makes these sermons easy is not the context, the interpretation, nor the passages they were taken from. What makes these sermons easy is that they have been taught over and over through the years. This is because these topics and sermons are the basic and fundamental topics of Christianity.
EASY SERMONS #1: SALVATION
One would never become a pastor or a church leader if he or she never shared about salvation. Perhaps, all of us when we got to know about Christ first thing we knew and learned about was the story of Salvation. This is why the top easiest yet the most life-changing topic is about Salvation.
Remember back when we never knew what salvation is? Back when we never knew why and how we could obtain it? Those are the exact questions that we need to answer when we talk about salvation. And this is exactly what we will expound on in the preceding paragraphs.
WHY DO WE NEED SALVATION?
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23)
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in[a] Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
These Classic verses talk about the biblical basis of why man needs a savior. After the fall of man in Genesis 3, the human race has become slaves to sin. Man has fallen short of His Glory and has since then been doomed to death. Because of sin, we were estranged from God. We can no longer communicate with Him because He is a Holy God. We were also subjected to curses and fell from God’s favor.
Without Salvation, Man’s destiny is darkness — hollow and empty life here on earth and eternal damnation after death. Without Salvation, one would never feel satisfied and can never fill the empty void in our hearts. No matter how accomplished you become, no matter how rich you become, nor how intelligent you become.
THE GOOD NEWS
Praise be to God, Romans 6:23 did not just end before the comma! When Jesus came to earth and died for us at the Cross, His saving act of grace brought freedom and salvation to man through the power of His blood.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 13:16)
God’s overflowing and unconditional love to man, allowed Him to give his one and only Son just to save us. Jesus became the solution for man’s darkness. He is the reason why man’s destiny of darkness changed to a destiny of happiness and holiness. Through his sacrifice, the chain of curses that bound man has been broken. It has no power against the precious blood of Jesus Christ! The Cross has brought redemption, renewal, and restoration to man.
HOW DO WE GET SALVATION?
“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
Salvation is found only in Christ. If we believe in Him and accept Him as our personal Lord and Savior, we are saved. Yes, that’s it! We are saved by grace through faith and not of our works. Many people could not believe that, but this is possible because of God’s immeasurable love for us.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
But just like any other gift, one cannot enjoy the benefits of the gift without receiving and taking it from the giver. So, even if Christ has already died thousands of years ago, there is a need for all of us to come to Him and believe in Him so that we may be saved.
“Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” (Acts 16:30-31)
Salvation is the beginning of man’s new relationship with God.
EASY SERMONS #2: LORDSHIP
Another easy sermon that I’d like to share with you in this article is about Lordship. This topic is a very common sermon topic in Christianity. Don’t we all call Jesus our Lord? Whenever we pray, most of us would never fail to mention the word “Lord”. This makes it one of the easiest sermons because many of us are already familiar with this word.
“Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.” (Acts 2:36)
Yet despite the familiarity, Christians can sometimes forget the true essence of Lordship. This is why preachers all over the world need to remind the congregation about the Lordship of Christ. Let’s start with the definition of the word, Lordship. This word is affixed to a person or deity who has authority, control, or power over another. A perfect word to describe Christ!
WHY DO WE NEED TO CALL CHRIST OUR LORD?
First and foremost, the reason why we call Him Lord is because He is God. He is part of the Godhead that rules over all the earth. As the book of John says, He was God from the beginning and He was fully God even if he was here on earth as fully man.
“In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him, nothing was made that has been made.” (John 1:1-3)
“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14)
Another thing that made Him the Lord of our lives, the reason that compels us more to call Him such, is His perfect obedience upon the cross. He was already God, he has the power and dominion over the earth. Yet He still obeyed the Father to die on the cross for us. He was perfectly human, he had weakness and can feel pain just like us. Yet still, He chose to die for all our sins.
“He exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. 22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church.” (Ephesians 1:20-22)
This amazing sacrifice and extravagant kind of love that is beyond human understanding made Him the Lord whom we, humans, can relate to and easily bow down to.
EASY SERMON #3: PRAYER
Prayer is defined as an act that seeks to activate a rapport with God through deliberate communication. Basically, it is our way to talk to God so that our relationship with Him would become deeper and stronger. This is in fact a very powerful act because it connects us with an all-powerful, omnipresent, and owner of all God. This means we have the capacity to connect to unlimited wisdom, guidance, and resource.
Now, the reason that makes this Sermon easy is not that we do it every day. It is not because many people do it or because everybody else does it. It is easy because Jesus himself has taught us how to pray. He provided us a pattern that allows us to commune more effectively making our prayers more powerful and efficient than ever.
“6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you [c]openly. 7 And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.
In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. [d]For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.” (Matthew 6:5:13)
In this verse, Jesus has already taught us where to pray, how to pray, who to pray to, and even what to pray for. This just means that God is eager to hear from us. He delights in every minute we give solely to communicate with Him. God created man to be in fellowship with Him and thus, every Christian must spend time to pray to Him.
