Prayer To Frontliner

Heavenly and Almighty God, who has all power and might to heal and protect. I pray today for the health and safety of all those on the frontlines of our fight against COVID-19. In particular, I pray for the doctors, nurses, and medical staff caring for the sick. Lord, protect them from exposure to this virus and keep them safe. In this article you’ll see thank you prayer for frontliners.

God of the heavens and earth, who has unlimited ability to rescue and shield. Today, I offer up prayers for the strength and protection of everyone who is fighting the spread of COVID-19. I say prayers for all the medical professionals who devote their lives to helping the sick. Keep them safe from the spread of this virus, Lord. Help them keep going, and ease the pain in their hearts. Lord, I ask that you bless the police, fire fighters, and EMTs who risk their lives every day to keep us safe. You must protect them from the virus so that they can keep our cities safe. God, I pray also for the unsung heroes of society who are suddenly thrust into the thick of things. Please look out for the people who stock our supermarkets, serve us as cashiers and truck drivers, deliver our food, and make our necessities. Lord, protect them from the virus and give them strength and encouragement. Lord, this war has seen many brave warriors, but none greater than you. Since we are helpless to counteract the effects of this virus on our own, we look to you, Lord. We are unafraid. We refuse to give up or be disheartened. Because the Lord is always walking beside us. And I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. Read more on Prayers For Frontliners Of Covid in this piece.

Prayers For Frontliners Of Covid

Give them the strength to carry on each day, comforting their tired and weary hearts. Lord, I pray also for the first responders – police, firefighters, and paramedics – who keep us safe and continue to work in our communities. Keep them safe from the virus, so they can continue to serve and protect our cities.

Lord, I also pray for the essential workers who didn’t expect to be on the front lines. Protect our grocery workers, store clerks, truck drivers, those who produce our essential goods, and all others serving our communities. Lord, support and encourage them, and keep them protected from this virus. Lord, there are many heroes in this battle, although none greater than you. For we have no power to face this virus and its impacts on our own, Lord, so we fix our eyes on you. We will not be afraid. We will not be discouraged. For you, Lord, are with us every step of the way. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Psalm 91 (NIV)
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

Surely he will save you
from the fowler’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.

If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”

Prayer To Frontliner

Heavenly Father, thank You for the frontliners caring for, protecting, and serving our communities, our families, and us. Thank You for these servant leaders, called to this work, trained for such a time as this, daily risking their own health and safety for others.

Please protect them from harm. Give them courage and strength. Draw close, Lord, and let them feel Your presence throughout the long hours they are working.

Father, please provide everything they need, both for the people they are serving and for their loved ones. Surround them with people who will help and support them and their families, even as they selflessly care for others.

You said we would face troubles in this world, but also that You had overcome it. Please work together with our frontliners, Lord, to ultimately bring about the best outcome possible.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Thank You Prayer For Frontliners

Our Eternal Father,

You, O Lord, are the great Author, Supplier, and Sustainer, the Source of unending joy and renewed vigor each morning.
You who watch over the lives of even the smallest of creatures, like the sparrows and lilies of the field, should certainly not forget about Your own children.

We pray that Your strength and presence will inspire those serving on the front lines, Your shielding will keep them safe, and Your love will keep them going throughout the day.
Please direct their attention to Jesus, who is pleading for them at God’s right hand.

Jesus, thank you for extending an invitation to those who are worn down by their responsibilities.
Please accept our gratitude for the peace that comes from trusting in You.
For the honor of our Father, may we grow to serve like You, finding peace in our steadfastness.
For the glory of Your name,

Amen
