That’s what happens in Judges 9 when Gideon is called by God to uproot the wicked people in his town so that righteousness can flourish there instead.
In Exodus 22:31, we learn that if someone steals an ox or sheep and then kills or sells it, they must pay back four times what they took. That’s like making sure that no one can ever profit from wrongdoing!
And finally, in Matthew 13:24-30, Jesus tells the story of the farmer who plants seeds in different kinds of soil—some shallow and rocky ground, some deep and soft soil—to show us that we must be patient with ourselves as we grow spiritually.

There are good seeds and evil seeds. Good seeds are seeds planted in your life that produce good fruits (results) to the fulfillment of your destiny. A good seed is what gives you the ability and potential to position you at the top echelon of your profession. Good seed is what makes a man radiate success at all times. When good seed is sowed in your life, it revolutionizes or fertilizes your entire being to manifest the blessings of God in you. When you have good seed in your destiny, struggle dies from your life. Evil seed could be the evil family pattern that runs in the family, such as poverty, delay, stagnation, barrenness, lying, stealing, near-success syndrome and illiteracy.
Evil seed is also a generational curse inflicted on the family linage such as: affliction, sickness, diseases, long suffering, sadness, deformity, abnormality and pains. These evil sees has to be uprooted so that you can get to the peak of life. Any evil seed you fail to uproot today will grow up to become giants tomorrow to destroy you. There is no gain-saying that evil seed has the tendencies of hindering your life physically and spiritually. When evil seed is planted in your life, you can never make any meaningful progress in the journey of life. Today, I command every evil seed planted in your life to be uprooted by fire in Jesus name Amen.
Our main text in Matthew 15:13, made it clear to us when Jesus answered his disciples and said “Every plant which my heavenly father hath not planted shall be uprooted up. Therefore, there are some seed that are not planted by God but man (enemy). Many in life today are suffering of the evil seed planted by their enemies. Some of the seeds were planted by your grandfather and your father lived his life on it without uprooting it. This message is coming to you today so that you will be aware of the ill-fated or unfulfilled life pattern your parents lived, owing to the evil seed implanted into his life so that you can uproot it and bring back the lost glory in your family. In the book of Genesis 16:1 says “Now Sari Abraham’s wife bare him no children”. Abraham could not uproot the evil seed of barrenness though he had faith in God but he fails to address the issue of delay in child bearing by taking what God has destined upon his life by force. The word of God says in Matthew 11:12, “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence and the violence take it by force”. God requires no more from us than the right use of facilities He has given us. Abraham could not uproot the evil seed of barrenness in his household. His son Isaac inherited the same family pattern of barrenness when he married Rebecca. Genesis 25:21. As if that was all, when Jacob took Rachael as wife, he continued in the same family pattern of barrenness because his father Isaac could not uproot it either in his own time. I don’t know the kind of evil seed that is growing in your family but I made a pronouncement upon your life that the evil seed is uprooted now in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
The word of God in the book of Matthew 13:25, says “but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. Many in life today are experiencing divers kinds of affliction as a result of evil seed inflicted on them by their enemies. This was made clear to us in Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked. Who can know it? The hearts of men are corrupt and evil because it can be manipulated to destroy destinies. Therefore parents have to be extremely mindful of the kind of words used on your children because any success without a successor is not a success. Many parents are sowing evil seed in the lives of their children and if it is not uprooted, it will destroy their future. Galatians 6:7 says “Be not be deceived; God is not mocked for whatever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Some people are paying the debt of their father because of the evil seed they sowed. A wife to one of the sons of the prophet cried out to Prophet Elisa and said, your servant my husband is dead and you know that your servant feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves. 2 Kings 4:1-7. May you not suffer your father’s affliction in Jesus name Amen.
The seed you are sowing in the lives of your children today is what becomes of them tomorrow because as a man thinketh in his heart so is he. Proverbs 23:7. However, God can equally visit the iniquity of your fathers upon the children until the third and fourth generation. The only way you can be free from the sins of your parents is when you surrender your life to Jesus. In the book of John 9:1-3, Jesus healed a man that was born blind of his affliction and his disciples asked him who sinned. Is it the blind man or his parents? And Jesus said none of them sinned but the affliction of blindness came upon the man so that the work of God should be made manifest on earth.
Finally friends, I decree upon you that the oil of grace come upon you to uproot that evil seed in your family like David in the house of Jesse, Joseph in the house of Jacob and Mary the mother of Jesus who was blessed and highly favoured among women in Jesus name Amen.
Verses About Uprooting What The Devil Has Planted
Let the scripture speak
Jer 1:10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
Mt 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
Jas 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
Lu 3:9 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Joh 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
When engaging in spiritual warfare, it is important to know that the enemy will
• Plant mines your way to blow you up. This is because he wants you out of the way.
• Plant evil when you are least aware
• Steal from God’s children peace, happiness, joy and the blessings of being in Christ
• Come when you are sleeping and sow evil in your life, business, job, marriage, family, relationships, ministry, health, neighbourhood, at the gates of your homestead/house, child(ren) etc
• If you allow the evil to grow, it will multiply and eventually it will kill you
verses about uprooting what the devil has plantedIt is also important to know that
• Whatever is grown germinates, first to a seedling, a young plant and eventually a tree.
• When mature, the tree produces fruit
• If the tree is good, it will end up producing more good trees, likewise, if bad, it will produce more bad fruits and consequently many more fruits
• If you don’t desire to keep a certain tree, you can only uproot it when young, when it grows old you will require to lay an axe at its roots
• When destroying a weed or any other unwanted plant, you completely burn it so that it goes not either grow again or have its seeds grow again
It is therefore vital to examine your life spiritually. See what is undesirable that grows in your life. Such which does not come from God. You should know that if you allow it to continue growing, it will bring your destruction.
God’s calling to Jeremiah is part of your calling today. God has not only appointed you to be in charge of your life but also of His creation. His directive to him is what He expects from you today. He told him that he is in charge. He has appointed him as his servant. Same happens to you. He charged him to
• Uproot
• Tear down
• Destroy
• Overthrow
• Build
• Plant
Please note that once you have destroyed a kingdom, you can’t leave a vacuum. You must rebuild, you must plant. This is done by words. Speak life, just as God had directed Ezekiel to speak to dry bones.
You need to use the six points above to completely uproot Satan’s work in your life, and plant God’s plan. You can for instance pray like this: “Today I uproot every wicked plantation at the gates of my family/ I uproot every Satanic plantation in my stomach/blood system/ body/ marriage/ business etc. in Jesus name. I tear down all that the enemy has erected in my ____. I destroy all his powers and plans in Jesus name. I overthrow his wicked kingdom now in the Mighty name of Jesus. ”
If whatever you are dealing with has taken too long in existence, you should apply the axe of the living God. You should pray like this “I lay the axe of the living God upon every tree of witchcraft/ immorality/ cancer/ divorce ____ (name it)which has existed in my life/family etc in Jesus name. I cast it into unquenchable fire of God in Jesus name”. Pray repeatedly, for just as you can’t fell a tree with a single cut, the same principle applies spiritually. After this plant what glorifies God. For instance you can say “I now plant health in my family/body in Jesus name”
PLEASE NOTE that in one of my examples above I have talked of evil planted in the stomach. I have handled many cases of sicknesses getting into the body through the stomach after being fed evil/ satanic/ unclean food. This can happen in hotels, your place of work, parties, home etc. The devil has many ways of doing it, including using his agents or by buying food that has satanic incantations on it. It has also happened to me many times but it is not something to worry you. A simple prayer of faith uproots it completely. If you let it to continue, it may grow to a worse disease or death
