RCCG Workers Code Of Conduct

The RCCG Workers Code of Conduct is a document created by the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye. This code is used by all members of the church to guarantee purposeful and dynamic living, as well as to fulfil duties and responsibilities within the church. The Code was announced for the first time in 2005 at Redemption Camp in Ota, Ogun State.

The code of conduct is the basis of the bureau by which all workers and officers of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) should endeavor to be guided in the discharge of their responsibilities, both temporal and spiritual, in the church. As citizens of Nigeria, as ambassadors for Christ in a pluralistic society, and as members in good standing of the Catholic Church.

We live in a highly co-dependent world. There’s no escaping it. The same applies to church attendance. Members need the church and a church needs its members. While many churches recognize this, not all are doing what they can to take advantage of the relationship. One way to take advantage of this symbiotic relationship is to create an effective code of conduct that helps guide the member’s behavior. By working together, members can develop into mature Christians who are actively engaged in their local churches and neighborhood communities.

The RCCG Workers Code of Conduct is a way for us to hold each other accountable and make sure we’re always working towards becoming better people. It’s not meant to be used as a weapon or a way to get someone fired—it’s about having high standards for ourselves and making sure we’re doing our best.

The Code of Conduct includes four main points:

  1. Be honest with yourself and others.
  2. Be available when needed.
  3. Get along with others in the RCCG family.
  4. Give back to the community around you.

The purpose of this code is to ensure that all members of the RCCG organization are treated fairly. This code applies to all members, regardless of their role in the organization. This code will be applied at all times and shall be binding on all concerned.

It is the responsibility of every worker to familiarize, read, understand and operate as per the attached RCCG Bahrain Worker’s Codes of Conduct Operational Manuals for the ministry in which he or she is serving in the church. This will enable each worker to have a clearer understanding of the task that is committed to his or her hand and thereby enhance performance.

The Lord bless you real good as you all take time to go through these operational manuals as they touch on your various areas of ministry. In case there is any area of these operational manuals that you will require further explanation from the senior pastor, please do not hesitate to meet with him as soon as possible with all your questions about the operational manual. These are the codes of conduct for all our workers at RCCG.

Code of Conduct

The School of Disciples will strive to provide a safe, respectful, conducive and inclusive learning environment to all registered students and workers by adhering to the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is possible when we all adhere to the guiding regulations of school.

  • Respect and comply with the constituted guidelines and authority – Romans. 13:1-2, 6-7.
  • Demonstrate honesty and integrity – 1 Corinthians 4:2
  • Respect and treat each other with dignity – Philippians 2:3
  • Moderation in dressing – Philippians 4:5
  • Punctuality – Ecclesiastes 3:1
  • Timeliness
  • Readiness to participate  in fasting & prayer meetings.
  • Readiness to attend and participate in all SOD night vigils.
  • Active participation in practical and other extra activities of the school.

Conclusion

The system that has been put in place is comprehensive, but at the same time does not appear to be overly complicated. From the information gathered, it is clear that church work really does require discipline and order, something that has perhaps been lacking in recent times.
