A beautiful song, “You Raise Me Up,” was covered by the COLOR MUSIC Children’s Choir. The choir is made up of kids who are between the ages of 7 and 12. They are from many different countries and they all have a passion for singing.
Each member of the choir has a story to tell and each one is unique in their own way. The first time that I saw them perform was at an event called “The Color Music Festival” in 2016, where they performed this song as well as others like “Lift Your Head Weary Sinner (Chorus),” “There Is A Balm In Gilead” by Hymnal 1982, “The Lord Is My Shepherd (Psalm 23),” and “We Shall Overcome.”
They were also featured in an article titled “Color Music Festival Brings Music To Kids In Need Of A Smile” on May 16, 2017 by The Huffington Post.
“You Raise Me Up” is a song that has been covered by many artists, but this version by the COLOR MUSIC Children’s Choir might just be the cutest one yet!
About “You Raise Me Up” – cover by COLOR MUSIC Children’s Choir
The video was posted on YouTube in 2016, and it shows the kids singing from behind a colorful backdrop. The kids are all dressed in black, white, and gold outfits that match the tone of their voices perfectly.
The song starts out slow with some beautiful piano playing, followed by a chorus of little voices that sound like angels singing in unison. The children seem to be having so much fun singing their hearts out! We love to hear them sing, especially when they do it with such passion and energy!
If you’re looking for something uplifting to listen to today, then we highly recommend checking out this video! We think you’ll love it as much as we did!
