For two years of study at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, Yağmur Yılmaz has worked on her series ‘Dreams of Empathy’. In a black-and-white style, she moves through a dream world without any dialogue. The main character is overwhelmed by the working world she lives in. Included in this series are fifteen films shot on Super 8 negative films and shown in 35mm and HD video format.
