Prayer To Get Off Drugs

Lord, I bring my children into your able hands, they are addicted to drugs and alcohol, and it hurts me to see them waste their lives. They are no longer peaceful children. Drugs and alcohol have turned them into violent people, and this breaks my heart. Father, fill their hearts with peace and please give them instant deliverance from their addictions. I have no one to turn to, but you and I know that those who hope in you will never be ashamed. In Jesus’ name, I believe and pray. Amen.

Dear God, so many youths are addicted to drugs and alcohol. They believe that addiction is the path that has been laid out for them. But Lord, that is not true because you have great plans for them. The enemy has fed them with lies so that he can keep them imprisoned to drugs and alcohol. Please help them to understand their value and to see themselves the way you see them. Uproot all the lies that the enemy has placed in their hearts about their identity. Lead them in the right path and help them to become free. In Jesus’ holy name, I pray. Amen.

jesus the nazarene
Omy loving Jesus,
whose life in Nazareth was marked with humility and obedience
and whose sufferings and death brought about my salvation,
grant that I may overcome pride and develop love for earthly hardships.
For it is only through a humble heart and joyful love of the cross
that I can follow in your footsteps.
It is only by carrying the daily cross that I can follow in Your footsteps.
It is only by carrying the daily cross that I can reach heaven.

Jesus Nazarene,
Bless my family and me. Amen.

Deliver Addicts from Enablers Prayer
Heavenly Father, your word says that blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly nor stands in the path of sinners. Lord, my son, has become friends with wicked people, and this has led him to become an addict of drugs and alcohol. He has strayed from the path that you have laid out for him and is walking in their evil ways. Father, remove all friends who introduced him to alcoholism and drugs from his life. Connect him with divine helpers that will influence him the right way and help him to become clean. Quench the evil desire of drugs and alcohol from his heart with the blood of Jesus and help him to experience total freedom. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Lord, some people are addicted to drugs and alcohol want to quit and live clean lives, but they’re finding it hard to stop. They need your divine intervention. Strengthen them in their inner being that they may be able to deal with withdrawal symptoms without falling back into the temptation of using drugs. Make the crooked paths in the recovery journey straight that they may conquer all the setbacks that the enemy has set before them. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Forgiveness Prayer
Father, I am stuck in this prison of drugs and alcohol addiction, and I don’t know how to get out. Come to my rescue. Lord, stretch your hand and draw me out of this habit. Please have mercy on me, Father, according to your loving-kindness. Wash me thoroughly with the blood of your Son Jesus and cleanse me from the effects of drugs and alcohol. Uphold me by your generous spirit so that I may not fall back to addiction. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Freedom Prayer
Dear Jesus, even though you came to set the captives free, some people are still living in captivity because the god of this world has blinded them from the truth. Convict their hearts that they may accept this as the truth and start living in freedom. I thank you and honor you highly for there is nothing too difficult for you to do. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Compassion Prayer
Dear Lord, have compassion on me and help me to overcome alcohol and drug addiction. Set me free from the curse of alcohol and drug addiction that runs through my family line. Look down with compassion for I am ashamed and lost. Free me from the compulsion to use drugs and alcohol. Fill that void with a desire to make a difference in the lives of those that are addicts. Amen.

Grace Prayer
Almighty God, arise and let the spirit of alcoholism and drug addiction be scattered. Let all those that are struggling with addiction be delivered. Open their hearts to the truth and break the influence of the enemy over their lives. Let the resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead bring healing unto their dead organs that have been affected by alcohol and drugs. Let your grace be upon them that they may go through the recovery process without falling back to their old ways. Prayers to Guide Your Recovery

Dear Lord, please turn my weakness into strength. Transform my suffering into compassion and turn my sorrow into lasting joy. Transform pain into comfort I can provide to others. Allow me to trust in your goodness and find hope in faithfulness, even in the midst of this struggle.

Use me as an instrument of Thy peace. Where hatred exists, let me sow love. Where injury exists, let me find pardon. Where there is doubt, let me find faith. Where there is despair, let me find hope. Where darkness exists, guide me into the light. Where there is sadness, transform it into joy.

Dear God, I offer myself up to Thee. Build with me and do with me what Thou wilt. Relieve me of the bondage of my self so that I may better do Thy will. Take from me my difficulties so that victory may be achieved.

Dear Lord, look upon me with eyes of mercy. May your healing hand rest upon my head. May your life-giving powers flow through every cell of my body and enter the deepest depths of my soul, thereby cleansing me, purifying me, and restoring me to wholesomeness.

God, I surrender to you my past, my present, and my future problems. I humbly ask that you take hold over every aspect of my life, and I surrender to you my hurt, my pain, my worry, and my doubt. I humbly ask you to wash me clean so that I may see clearly.

Dear God, may you dull the pain I feel with your eternal love. May you blur those sharp edges of my life by reminding me that eternal love. May you blur those sharp edges of my life by reminding me that from bad, good can emerge. Please help me appreciate that the sorrow makes the joy sweeter. Remind me that I can look forward to better times and that I can endure anything with you by my side.

Lord, give me the strength to not be better than my enemies. Help me defeat my greatest enemy: the doubts that live inside my own mind. Give me the strength I need to keep my back straight and my eyes clear, so that when this life fades, my eternal spirit may continue.

May my heart be gentle, my mind still and open, my spirit remain unshackled, my awareness remain keen and my conscience be clear. May my nature be giving, may I become a healing energy and a benefit to all. May my life enrich others and may I know what matters.

Please, God, bless me. Please forgive my sins and help me be a better and wiser person. Please infuse my mind, my heart, my body and my soul with your divine energy. Please help my body to be healthy and infuse my cells with your divine healing power.

Dear Lord, please untie the knots of my life. Please untie the knots in my mind and my heart so that they cannot find their home inside my heart.
