Prayer To Aphrodite

Prayer To Aphrodite may be the best way to attract genuine lasting love and appeal to the heart of a specific person. Whether you’ve found yourself in a situation where you just weren’t feeling it anymore and even that special someone had gone all “cold” on you, or you are looking to get your ex-lover’s attention once more, this is the spell to use! Aphrodite is the Greek Goddess of love, beauty, pleasure and procreation. She was a daughter of Zeus and Dione – daughter of Oceanus and Tethys. Her Roman name is Venus. She married Hephaestus but later fell passionately in love with a Trojan named Adonis. She is also married to Hephaestus, who is lame and has a weak sight. Her son by Hephaestus was Eros (Cupid). It is said that Aphrodite had an epithet for herself – “Cytherea” which means “she of the island”.

Aphrodite is known as the goddess of love, beauty, and sexual desire. She is the personification of the female principle in nature. Her main function is to arouse love, though not in an earthly manner; her methods are those of immortal enchantment. She causes desire to make herself known in dreams by night or visions during the day. As I am a devotee to Aphrodite, I ask this goddess to help me find my soulmate, you. I pray that you receive my prayer and that you send me someone wonderful who will love me for who I am — flaws and all — just as much as I love Him/her for who you are. Rise up and shine, goddess of the dawn! Look with favor on your children below. Let your bright eyes look kindly on the new laws I have made. Let them thrive in the days to come. In what I do, be my witness; guide me as I lead my army into battle that they might remember that through you great glory may come to them in battle.

Prayer To Aphrodite

On your dappled throne, Aphrodite—deathless,
ruse-devising daughter of Zeus: O Lady,
never crush my spirit with pain and needless
sorrow, I beg you.

Rather come—if ever some moment, years past,
hearing from afar my despairing voice, you
listened, left your father’s great golden halls, and
came to my succor,

Yoking sparrows, lovely and swift, to drive down,
leaving heaven, chariot sailing mid- sky
over black earth, feather-thick wings densely
beating the clear air—

Quick arrival. You, O my Blessed Goddess,
ageless lips then beautifully smiling at me,
asked me what had caused me such pain and made me
cry out again now:

“What’s the secret wish of your crazy, wild heart?
Whom must Love compel with Her wily ruses
back into the glittering net of your arms?
Sappho, who hurts you?

If she flees, she’ll follow you soon as I say.
If she snubs your gifts, she will give you much more
If she loves you not, then I swear she will love—
Even unwilling.”

Come to me now, free me from bitter worry,
all I long for, deep in my spirit— do it!
You yourself be, here on this field of battle,
Sappho’s lone ally.

Prayer To Aphrodite

Dear Aphrodite,

I come to you today with a prayer.

Please hear me. I ask for your guidance in the matter of [name].

As you know, he/she has been in my life for a long time now and it’s time for me to decide what to do next. I don’t want to hurt him/her, but I’m not sure if I can stay with him/her either. Please help me find the courage to make this decision and the strength to make it stick.

I come to you with a humble request. I have been feeling lonely, and I need a new friend. I know that you have many things to do in your job as goddess of love and beauty, but I would be so grateful if you could spare some time to help me find a friend.

Aphrodite, I know that you are busy with your other duties (which are many), but this is important to me. Please do not take too long to answer my prayer!

Goddess of love and beauty,

I come before you today to ask for your help.

I know that you have heard my prayers before, and I hope that this time is no different.

Please, Goddess: please help me find the love of my life. Please help me find someone who can see past my flaws and imperfections and love me for who I am—someone who knows how much they mean to me and how much I mean to them in return. Someone who wants us both to be happy above all else. Someone who will love me just as much as I love them. Please, Aphrodite!
