I am a Christian and I believe that prayer can change the course of our lives, our nation and the world. We have to pray for peace, for our leaders and those who are suffering.
Pray for our leaders everywhere
- Pray for our leaders everywhere.
- Pray that they may make decisions that benefit all our people and not solely themselves.
- Pray for those who have been caught in the crossfire of war or illness, those who have lost loved ones.
Pray that they may make decisions that benefit all our people and not solely themselves.
The world is a scary place. There are many things we don’t understand, and even more that we’d rather not know about. We should be reminded that there is still good in this world, and that it’s up to us to make sure it stays alive.
In times of war or illness, pray for those who have been caught in the crossfire of violence or disease. Pray for those who have lost loved ones during these conflicts—one day they will join them once again on earth when all wars cease forever (Revelation 21:4). Pray also for those who are struggling to survive, that they may be given what is needed to go on living their lives without having anything taken away from them by others with less compassion than yourself (James 2:15-16).
Pray for those who have been caught in the crossfire of war or illness, those who have lost loved ones.
Pray for those who have been caught in the crossfire of war or illness. Pray for those who have lost loved ones to violence, sickness, and natural disasters. Pray that all people may find peace, safety and security.
Prayer can help us be more loving and compassionate towards others, no matter their circumstances or situations. It can also help us feel less isolated when we are going through difficult times ourselves. Prayer helps bring our attention back to God who loves us unconditionally and wants what is best for us!
Pray for those who are struggling to survive, that they may be given what is needed to go on.
You may also wish to pray for those who are struggling, suffering, in need or hungry. If you have lost everything, if you are homeless and alone, please just know that I am thinking of you right now. You are not forgotten by God. No matter how bad things may seem right now, God is with them and they will be fine.
May we remember to take care of one another, to tend to the sick, the poor, the lost, the lonely, and to give them hope by our actions as a people.
As we go through our day-to-day lives, we are often left to our own devices. We may be tempted to ignore the needs of others, or simply not think about them at all—especially while walking down the street. But when we stop and consider how much joy it brings us to help those who are less fortunate than ourselves, it becomes clear that helping is one of the most important things we can do for each other in this world.
It’s true that some people need more help than others—but even if we’re not qualified to offer more substantial assistance (such as financial support), there’s always something you can do to contribute to somebody else’s well-being: just a smile or kind word can make someone feel good about themselves and their surroundings; a friendly conversation with a stranger can brighten many people’s days; offering your seat on public transportation for someone with disabilities shows them that they’re still valued members of society; opening up your home for an extra meal during winter months enables families who otherwise might have gone hungry over break time; volunteering at an animal shelter gives lonely pets new families and homes where they’ll be loved unconditionally by humans whose hearts have been touched by these innocent creatures….The list goes on! And every little bit helps!
Prayer can help us heal.
Prayer can help us heal. It is not a magic wand that will wave away our problems and make them disappear, but it does give us hope for the future and strength to go on.
Prayer can help us in our daily lives. When we pray, we open ourselves up to God and allow Him to enter into our thoughts and feelings. As we do so, He may show us something about ourselves or others that we did not know before; He may give us peace or joy; He may remind us of His love for each one of His children; He may lead us to choose a different path than what we would have chosen on our own volition (often because this choice will be better for all concerned).
Prayer can also help relationships with God strengthen as well as those with other people’s strengthening through prayer. Prayer connects you more deeply with the Divine source within yourself while allowing you express yourself more directly through words spoken aloud or silently within your mind & heart!
prayer to heal the world
Our world is sick. We know this because of the way it looks and how it feels. The virus that is causing this sickness is invisible to our eyes and can’t be smelled, but its effects are everywhere. It’s a virus that divides us and makes us afraid. It destroys lives, jobs and dreams as we see every day in the news headlines. But there is hope…
Holy God,
Holy God, Creator of the Universe, we come to you today to pray for peace. We know that there are many things that we cannot control in this world, but we have faith in your power and love. So please heal our planet Earth and bring healing to all people who suffer from war, poverty and injustice. Please help us to find ways of resolving conflict peacefully so that everyone can live together in harmony with each other on this planet earth.
Our world is sick.
Now, the first step is to pray for the world. I know this may sound a little crazy to you, but we need your help. The world is sick and hurting, and we can’t do this without you.
We are asking you to use your voice and speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.
So that’s it! If you want to take action on this issue today, then please tweet out #Prayer4theWorld with a link back here so that others can join in as well!
It’s under attack from a virus.
This virus has a name: covid. It’s a computer virus that infects people’s minds, making them afraid and angry, making them want to hurt other people or their own families.
We need your help because covid is attacking our world; it makes us do bad things we don’t want to do and think bad things about ourselves.
A virus that can’t be seen and can’t be smelled,
We can’t detect it with our five senses, but this virus is real. It is a virus that can’t be seen and can’t be smelled. It can’t be felt by touch or detected by a blood test. The same goes for an x-ray: no white spots will appear on the film to show where the infection has taken hold.
But this insidious disease does exist—and it’s spreading quickly across our planet—and it doesn’t care who you are or how much money you have when it attacks your body!
but has such power to divide us and to make us afraid,
But this virus, which has no power to divide us and make us afraid, is under attack from a virus that can’t be seen and can’t be smelled. It’s a virus that claims our differences are what make us dangerous. But it’s time for all of us to say: “No more.”
Let’s stop dividing ourselves into groups and let’s stop the conflict between groups. Let’s be one humanity living in harmony with each other…
to destroy lives, jobs and dreams.
Pray for the people who have lost their jobs
Pray for the people whose lives are being destroyed
Pray for the people whose dreams are being destroyed
And so we pray.
And so we pray.
We pray for peace. We pray for our world, and the ones who live in it. We pray for ourselves, our families, our friends, and all of humanity. We pray for the future: that all may be well with us and those we love. And so we pray: not just now or today—but always—so that God will hear our call and answer with his grace.
We pray for your help and guidance.
The world needs healing. We know that you can bring hope, love, and peace to our planet. We pray for your help and guidance to make a difference in this chaotic world.
We pray for your help and guidance as we continue to heal ourselves from past wounds so that we can be better examples of what it means to love others unconditionally (1 Corinthians 13:4-8).
We ask that you would encourage us when we feel discouraged (2 Chronicles 20:20), give us the strength needed when we are weak (Romans 8:28), teach us how to forgive others (Matthew 6:14-15) as well as ourselves (Colossians 3:13; Ephesians 4:32), remind us that all things work together for good if we remain faithful in our trust in You (Romans 8:28).
We pray for the skills of doctors and scientists,
We pray for the skills of doctors and scientists.
We pray for the energy of nurses, carers, and all who care for others.
We pray for the wisdom of politicians.
We pray for the love and respect of our communities.
May we be inspired by faith in one another to use our minds, bodies, hearts, voices and strength as tools to improve ourselves and others.
we pray for the energy of nurses and carers,
We pray for the energy of nurses and carers, who are the backbone of our healthcare system. They are the unsung heroes of our community, giving up their time to care for others in need. We need to give them the respect they deserve by listening to what they have to say, valuing their opinions and recognising that they have a role in shaping our society’s future.
we pray for our politicians to lead us wisely,
We pray for our politicians to lead us wisely,
We pray for them to be honest and truthful,
We pray for them to make decisions that are in the best interests of the country and its citizens,
We ask that they work together, not being selfish or arrogant.
we pray for our communities to look after one another with love and respect,
We pray for our communities to look after one another with love and respect.
We pray for our communities to be places where people can find a place to belong and feel safe, loved and accepted for who they are.
we pray that our faith will make a difference.
When you are praying for healing, you are actually putting into action the most powerful force in the world: faith. When two or more people gather together in prayer, they can help those who need it most. If we all work together to pray for a better world, then perhaps one day we’ll all be able to live together peacefully.
When I think about how much damage our society has done over time through wars and conflicts, it makes me sad and angry at the same time. How can we ever hope to make this world a better place if we continue to fight each other?
When in doubt turn to prayer.
When in doubt, turn to prayer.
When you want to calm your mind and focus on what is important, prayer can help. Prayer allows us the opportunity to connect with God and feel his love. It reminds us that we are not alone, that there is an entire community of people who care about what we are going through and want to be part of our journey as human beings living lives on this planet. Prayer gives us perspective; it helps us see things for what they really are so we can make wise decisions about how we respond in situations where our emotions might cloud our judgment or attribute meaning where there is none.
Prayer can also help us ask for forgiveness when we have done something wrong or failed someone else—it’s a great way of bridging gaps between people and strengthening relationships with those around you by communicating openly about what happened (either directly yourself if appropriate) so both parties understand each other fully before moving forward together into the future
Conclusion
We may not be able to see the virus, but we can fight it with our prayers. We can pray for those who are sick and their families, that they will have strength and courage in this difficult time. We can pray for those who are suffering from loneliness or depression, that they will find peace within themselves and others around them who care enough to listen. We can pray for those whose lives have been changed by war or natural disasters, so that their hearts will be filled with hope again…
As we approach the end of our journey, we hope that you have been inspired by the power of prayer. If you believe in God and want to strengthen your relationship with him, then pray! Prayer can help us heal as a society and open us up to love and compassion for our fellow human beings. It’s important that we don’t lose sight of this message during these turbulent times–and there is no better way than through prayer itself
