Dear Lord, we pray for the nation. Please bless our leaders and protect them from harm. We ask that you guide their hearts and minds as they work to make the country a better place for all of us. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Dear God,
I pray for my nation.
May we be a beacon of peace and love, compassion and understanding. May we always be willing to open our minds and hearts to those who are different from us, so that we can learn from one another. May we be confident in our ability to make good decisions as a community, but humble in our individual need for guidance. May we put aside our differences and find common ground, so that we may work together toward a better future for all people.
May we remember that you are the source of all goodness. You are the light that shines in the darkness, the hope that guides us through hardship, and the love that flows from your heart through ours. Thank you for being there with us every step along this journey—throughout every moment of this day, whether it’s beautiful or difficult; through every word spoken today; through each breath taken by anyone reading this prayer right now; through every action taken by anyone who hears this prayer; through every thought running through anyone’s mind right now…and always. You are here right now—holding us close with love—and forevermore so will I believe because it’s true.
Dear God,
We pray that you will bless our nation and its leaders with wisdom, strength and courage. We pray for a unified government that can bring peace and prosperity to all Americans. We pray for the continued success of our military and law enforcement officers, who work tirelessly to protect us from harm. We pray for justice in this world, so that no one is ever abused or mistreated by those in power. We also pray for healing among our fellow citizens: that they may find help in their time of need and comfort when they are suffering. And finally, we ask that you bless us all with the ability to forgive each other for our mistakes, so that we may live together in harmony as brothers and sisters on this planet Earth.

Dear God,
We come before you today with a heavy heart. We have come to you in prayer, asking for guidance and strength as we work through this difficult time.
We are facing many challenges right now, but we know that you are bigger than any of them. You are not afraid of anything, and when faced with opposition, we can trust that you will give us the strength to overcome it.
We ask that you look over our nation during this time of uncertainty and confusion. Help us to find unity within ourselves so that we may be able to unite as one people. Give us the wisdom to find the best solutions for our problems so that we may move forward together as one nation under God.

Dear Lord,
We pray that you continue to protect our nation, as we are grateful for the freedoms we enjoy. We ask that you give us the strength and courage to continue fighting for what is right. We also ask that you help us remember that the most important thing is to love one another, even when it’s hard. We know that we can’t do this without your help and guidance, but we also know that you will be there every step of the way.

Lord, we come before you today with humble hearts. We ask for your guidance as we navigate the complex challenges of our day.
We ask that you would shine your light on the leaders of our nation, and show us how to be true leaders in our communities. We pray that you would give us wisdom in how we lead our lives and serve others, so that we may always be guided by your will.
Lord, we ask for your grace and mercy upon those who are suffering from illness and depression. Please send them comfort and peace during this difficult time.
We pray for those who have lost loved ones to violence or disease, that they would find healing in their hearts and be able to move forward in life without bitterness or anger towards others who are still living in this world without their loved ones.
Lord, please help us all remember what matters most in life: family, friends—and YOU!
