After reading an inspirational quote about hope and faith, I was reminded of broken relationships. I hope this prayer for healing broken relationships helps you. Now more than ever we need to pray for the grace that can only come from God our Father during this holiday season. And how was the God who made the world able to protect his creatures from all the dangers that surround them? The prophet Isaiah gives us an answer: he says that God “abounds in strength” (Isaiah 40:28) and “gives power to the faint and strengthens the powerless” (verse 29). God also gives us his peace and his comfort so that in our weakness, he makes us strong. It is with such blessings of him that we are able to do all things through Christ who strengthens us. It is with such blessings of him that we are able to obtain grace upon grace. It is with such blessings of him that we are able to turn even what seems like a hopeless situation into a promise of a great future ahead.
prayer for broken relationships to heal
Dear Lord,
I am writing to you today because I need help. I have been struggling with a broken relationship for the past few months, and I just don’t know what to do anymore. My partner and I have been through a lot together, but it seems like all we do now is fight. We used to be so happy together, but now it feels like all we do is scream at each other until one of us runs away—and then we feel guilty for leaving.
I know that our relationship wasn’t perfect when we started dating, but now it feels like nothing can save us from ourselves. The sad part is that I don’t think either one of us wants to break up—we just don’t know how to fix what’s wrong anymore.
I thank you for all that you do for me every day, Lord. You’ve been there with me through thick and thin, even when things seemed impossible. Please help me find peace in this situation so that I can move forward with confidence in myself and my partner!
Dear God,
I ask you to heal my broken relationships. I am tired of being hurt, and I know that the only way forward is to forgive those who have wronged me. But please help me to see that they are human beings with their own problems and heartbreaks, just like me. Please help me to remember that they are not always in control of themselves, nor do they always know how they will choose to act. They need your love more than ever before.
I pray for the grace of forgiveness (Matthew 6:14-15). Let my heart be open to healing and wholeness again. Let my eyes be opened to see people as they truly are: fallible but redeemable, no matter what their past mistakes may have been. Help me to cast aside judgments so that I may be able to love them freely despite any mistakes they may have made in the past—or any mistakes I myself might make in this moment or in the future.
Thank you for hearing my prayer, dear God.
Dear God,
I am writing to you in the hope that you can help me to heal my broken relationship. I want to be able to forgive and forget the pain that I’ve been through, but I don’t know how. Please guide me and show me what it is that you want me to do.
There are many things about this relationship that were good, but there are also many things that were bad. I know now that my partner was not right for me, but at the time it seemed like all of our problems would just go away if we gave it time. Now I realize that they never would have gone away on their own, and that my partner did not care enough about me or our relationship to work through them with me. So please guide me as I move forward into a new phase of my life without them.
I pray for guidance on how best to proceed without losing sight of what’s important anymore: myself first and foremost, followed closely by those who love me most dearly (my family members). Please help me find peace again after this difficult struggle so that we may both move forward towards better futures than what could have been had we stayed together any longer than necessary!
Dear God,
I come to you in this time of need. I know I have strayed from your path, but I am ready to return. Please help me heal my broken relationship with [person name].
I know you are the one who can heal our relationship and restore it to what it once was. Please give me strength during this difficult time and remind me that there is always hope for a good future with those who love us.
Thank you for hearing my prayers and for answering them.
Lord, I come before you today to ask for your guidance.
My family and I have been through a lot recently, and it seems like there’s no end in sight.
I know that you only want the best for me, and so I ask that you help me find peace and healing in this difficult time.
Please help me find a way to forgive those who have hurt me. Please give me the strength to be patient with them while they work through their issues. And please let me know if there’s anything I can do to help bring about reconciliation between us—I’m open to any suggestions you may have!
And finally, Lord, please remind us all of your love for us as we go through this difficult time together. Please remember that we are all children of God and that we need each other now more than ever before. Thank you for loving us as much as you do, even when we’re at our worst moments! In Jesus’ name I pray: Amen
Dear God,
Please heal the hearts and minds of those who have been hurt. Please help them to see the good in others again. Help them to find peace and happiness within themselves.
May they be able to forgive those who have wronged them, and may they be able to forgive themselves for their own mistakes.
Help us all find ways to forgive each other. As we learn how to forgive ourselves and others, may we become more compassionate, caring people. May we learn how to extend grace and mercy towards others as well as ourselves, so that one day there will be no more pain or suffering in this world.
Amen
Dear God,
I pray for my broken relationships to heal. I want to re-establish the trust that was once there. I want to be able to forgive and let go of all the hurt, anger, and pain that has kept us apart. May you help me find peace within myself and give me the strength to make this happen. I pray for healing in our lives and hearts so we can move forward together. Amen
