The first service of the day is at 6am. It’s a time to be inspired and motivated by our pastor, Dr. Benjamin Leighton. A healthy breakfast is served before the service so you can get your mind right for the day ahead!
The purpose of this church service is to help you start off your day with a positive outlook on life and allow God to bless you throughout it!
9am
Guts Church is a 9am service that takes place at the Guts Church location. The service provider is Guts Church, and the service length is 60 minutes. This type of services are known as [church services](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_service).
11am
In the Bible, 11am is referred to as the third hour. This is a reference to the time of day when Jesus was crucified on Calvary (Matthew 27:45 and Mark 15:33).
It’s also interesting to note that in addition to being the third hour of Roman time, 11am also happens to be when we get our high-noon sunlight in Chicago and other northern latitudes. At this point during summer months, you’re enjoying maximum exposure from our sun while it reaches its highest point in your sky—just like Jesus!

The Guts Church service times listed above are for today and tomorrow. The main Guts Church services each week are Tuesday at 7pm, Thursday at 7pm, and Sunday at 11am. We also offer a Family Service on Sunday mornings at 9am (for younger kids) and a Young Adults service on Sunday nights at 6pm.

- Description of Service: Our Sunday morning service begins at 10 AM with coffee, tea and donuts in the Fellowship Hall before our 11 AM worship time led by our founding pastor Paul Chan who will share his heart for community and Jesus with you! Join us as we worship God together through song and prayer! You’ll also have an opportunity to meet others from our congregation afterwards during a small group discussion time that lasts until 12 PM when lunch begins; everyone is welcome to join however we ask that you RSVP so we know how much food to prepare 🙂

If you work during the day, or have kids and can’t attend the earlier services, 8pm is your church service. If you’re a night owl who likes to stay up late and get stuff done—or if you’re single and don’t have kids yet—8pm is also a great option for you.
