I’ve been reading Greek Hymns: The Texts in Translation by William Furleely and Jan Bremer and came across a very lovely prayer to Hestia, written by one Aristonoos from Corinth during the 4th century BCE
Prayer To Hestia For Protection
In the Name of the Father,
and the Son,
and the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
Let us praise our God in veneration of the Blessed Virgin Mary,
our Mother and Protector.
O Almighty and merciful God!
You have given the Church a wondrous help and defense
in the most holy Virgin Mary
and You have honored Her sacred image as the Black Madonna
with remarkable veneration of the faithful.
Grant in Your mercy that, under Her protection,
we may struggle confidently throughout our lives
and at the moment of death be victorious over our enemy.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
O Black Madonna, our Mother and Queen of our nation!
Trusting in Your maternal goodness
and powerful intercession with Your Son,
we place before You our humble prayers and petitions.
To You we commend all our needs, in particular

Holy Queen of Sanctity,
we hymn you, Hestia, whose abiding realm
is Olympus and the middle point of earth
and the Delphic laurel tree!
You dance around Apollo’s towering temple
rejoicing both in the tripod’s mantic voices
and when Apollo sounds the seven strings
of his golden phorminx and, with you,
sings the praises of the feasting gods.
We salute you, daughter of Kronos
and Rhea, who alone brings firelight
to the sacred altars of the gods;
Hestia, reward our prayer, grant
wealth obtained in honesty; then we shall always
dance around your glistening throne.
Greek Pagan Goddess Hestia Prayer
She never interfered in the disputes of gods and men, that’s why she rarely appears in the mythological stories despite being one of the main goddesses of the Greek religion and later in Rome, where she was known as Vesta.
Hestia was the first one to whom the offerings were made at banquets – even before Zeus – for without Hestia’s presence, a house was not a home.
In modern paganism, the help of Hestia is invoked when in need of her blessing to cleanse the home and banish negative energies or beings who seek to disrupt the peace. Invoke her to bring protection to your home and family.
Hail Hestia, Lady of the Hearth,Keeper of the Flame,
where ever you are the Gods have a home.
Enter this space, make it your own
giving me your blessings and guidance.
Hallow this rite, blessing each just desire.

Short Prayer for Home Protection
Chant this prayer while you mix salt and water:
“O Great Vesta in your name we purify,
Our home with water and with salt.
Fill it with your Love,
Make it safe and warm.
Shelter us from harm,
Make this house our home”
Then apply the mixture of salt and water to the front and back doors of your home, or put salt in the corners of your house. It can also be used as a Pagan blessing for a new home.
