Bible Verses About Singing And Music

Shout it from the rooftops! Sing it from the mountain tops! This is one of my favorite verses about music. Music has been a thing of beauty, joy and celebration for hundreds of years. It has also been used to torture and hurt others in many cases. It’s important to me to find scripture that tells me when the Bible talks about singing and music, what are they really saying?

The Bible is full of verses about singing and music. Here are 101 quotes, excerpts and phrases. Some scriptures include hymns and songs from the Psalms, others illustrate principles and truths about singing and music.

We all sing. Every day as we wake up, shower, and brush our teeth we are singing. Sometimes we sing out loud and other times we just hum a tune while driving or walking down the street. But why do we sing? A Bible verse about singing can help us to understand why God gave us the gift of music to use.
