Whether you are going through a breakup, graduating from school, or moving to a new city, there will be times in your life when things change drastically. It can be scary and confusing, but God is always there with you! In the Bible, we see how God gave Joshua a new chapter in his life when he was chosen by God to lead the Israelites into their Promised Land. Joshua had already been a leader of Israel for years, but now he had an entirely new group of people to lead. He knew that this would not be easy because they were still in the desert and not ready for battle yet. So Joshua started leading them in worship songs until they were ready to fight their enemies.

Bible Verses About New Chapters In Life

Life is a series of new chapters, and as I approach each new one, I turn to God’s Word to seek comfort and guidance. No matter what you’re dealing with—starting a career, launching a business, navigating college or university, getting married, having kids, etc.—the Bible has something to say on the subject. Whether you believe in God or not (and if you don’t believe in God but are curious about Him or His Word, then I’d love to chat with you!), here are some of my favorite bible verses about transitioning into a new chapter in life. They’ve helped me through the tough times and they’ll help you too!

‘Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.’ Isaiah 43:19

God is always doing a new thing, and he wants you to be part of it. As strange as it may sound, even if you feel like your life has hit a dead end and there’s no way out, believe me when I say that God can do something amazing in your life. He can turn things around for you in ways that are beyond your imagination!

God doesn’t want us to sit around waiting for him to create change; he wants us to be the change we want to see in the world—and since he made the world, he knows exactly how best to go about this task. He’ll make sure that everything works out just as it should (see Isaiah 55:9), so all we have to do is trust him and follow his instructions.

‘And he said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.” Mark 2:27-28

There are times when you will be faced with change. Whether it’s a new job, relationship, or life-changing event; there is no doubt that these changes can be difficult. But they only become a burden if you allow them to be one. In this verse Jesus shows that the Sabbath was created for man, not man for the Sabbath (Mark 2:27). This means that we should not allow our own needs or wants to get in the way of what God has called us to do on Sunday mornings and Wednesdays nights at Bible study groups! If you are truly following God’s word then there is no reason why your schedule should interfere with what he has planned for you during those times each week!

‘No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him.’ 1 Corinthians 2:9

No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.

  • 1 Corinthians 2:9

The word “prepared” in this verse implies that God had a plan in place before you even existed. He knew you would be born into this world and that He would give you certain talents and abilities to help others along their paths. Through your life experiences and choices, He will guide you on how to use these talents for His glory. And even if it doesn’t seem like it now or ever will (and sometimes we feel like our lives are taking unexpected turns because of various setbacks), there is always a reason behind everything that happens in our lives–it’s just not always immediately clear at the time!

‘They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.’ Lamentations 3:23

It’s true that the moment you think you’ve got God all figured out, He comes along and surprises you.

The Bible verse above reminds us that this is a good thing; because even when we think we’re doing all the right things, God is always surprising us with new ways to live life.

And when something goes wrong or doesn’t turn out as expected, it’s also important to remember that our faithfulness comes from who He is and not what He does or doesn’t do for us (Romans 8:28).

‘Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?’ Isaiah 43:18-19a

“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?” Isaiah 43:18-19a

God is always doing something new. He’s always bringing his people into new places and new situations because he loves us so much that he wants to show us his power and glory in different ways from day to day. God doesn’t want us to live in yesterday’s failures or successes—he wants us to get excited about our future together with him! Don’t worry if your past may seem full of mistakes and bad decisions; don’t worry if you think you can never improve yourself; don’t worry if other people have let you down or treated you badly before—God has something so much better waiting for all who will receive him!

‘But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us,’ Titus 3:4-5a

When you have a new chapter in your life, it can be easy to feel a little lost at first. But the good news is that God has never left us and He will always be there for us. The Bible says that He loves us unconditionally and saved us by His grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). When things get tough and we feel like giving up, we need to remember that our Savior doesn’t want us to ever leave His side.

‘For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.’ Ephesians 2:10

God created you for a purpose, and He has prepared good works for you to walk in. You are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

At times we can feel overwhelmed by our circumstances and wonder why things could not be better. But remember: God is the creator and designer of your life! He knows what is best for you, even if it doesn’t seem like it at first glance. Just trust Him and know that He has a plan for your life!

  • Psalm 56:13 – “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You preserve my life; You stretch out Your hand against the anger of my foes”
  • Proverbs 29:25 – “The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.”
  • Isaiah 41:10 – “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.”

God is always with us.

He will guide us through life’s new chapters, no matter how overwhelming they seem. He gives us strength to face whatever comes our way and the courage to rise above it. That’s why we have so many Bible verses about new chapters in life—to help those who are facing these journeys today, tomorrow and every day after that!
