Types of love in the bible

There are so many Bible stories from the Old Testament that inspire us to live a life of faith, love and hope. From Moses parting the Red Sea to David slaying Goliath, these stories have inspired countless generations and have shaped our world as we know it today.

Here are some of our favorites:

Moses parts the Red Sea

When Moses was a baby, he was placed in a basket on the Nile River and set adrift by his mother in order to save him from being killed by Pharaoh’s decree. When Pharaoh’s daughter found him, she adopted him as her own child and raised him as an Egyptian prince. As an adult, Moses led his people out of slavery and into freedom with God’s help.

David slays Goliath

After hearing that Israel was at war with the Philistines, young David went to King Saul’s camp where he encountered Goliath who stood more than nine feet tall. No one had ever defeated Goliath before so David volunteered himself as Israel’s champion against Goliath which resulted in God giving him victory over Goliath through faith instead of might!

The Bible is a book of stories, and they all have the power to inspire and uplift.

In this book, we’ve collected some of our favorite stories from the Old Testament. You’ll learn about Noah’s Ark, Moses’ escape from Egypt, David’s battle with Goliath, and Jesus’ ministry on earth.
