In this video, Apostle Joshua Selman explains the concept of tithing and tithing in the Church.
Tithing is not a “church tax” or a “tithe tax.” Tithing is a commandment from God to His people to give 10% of their income to Him and His work. Tithing is an act of worship, an act of obedience, and an act of love for God.
When you tithe, you are giving back to God what He has given you. When we give 10% back to Him, He blesses our lives in ways that we cannot even begin to imagine. He will protect us, provide for us, and prosper us if we seek His face above all else.

About Apostle Joshua Selman explains TITHE & TITHING || 2022 Sermon
What is tithing and why are we doing it?
The tithe, or tenth, is the portion of all income that you give to the church. This is a way of making your faith tangible and something that you can see every week. We believe that tithing helps us to be more aware of how much God has blessed us with. It also helps us recognize how our money should be used for good. If you don’t have enough money to pay your tithe, then we’ll help you figure out a way to make it work! All we ask is that you try your best to give what you can.
Why do we do this?
We do this because Jesus said so (Matthew 23:23). He told us to give 10% of our money back to him so that he could use it for good things like feeding hungry people and helping widows and orphans who don’t have anywhere else to turn. When you give back what God has given you, he will multiply it back into many blessings!
