15 Days Prayer to Sacred Heart of Jesus

Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

O most merciful Jesus, who exposed your sacred heart to the contemplation of Saint Margaret Mary and obtained by her prayers the conversion of sinners; grant me, I beseech you, the grace which I ask in this novena, if it is for the good of my soul and the advancement of God’s glory. Amen.

First Day: “Most Sacred Heart of Jesus”

Jesus, whose burning love inflames my heart with its flame; Thou who didst die on the cross that I might be saved from eternal damnation; Thou who hast left in Thy Sacred Heart a fountain of mercy for all who approach it with confidence; hear me this day for I come before Thee seeking Thy grace.

Second Day: “Most Sacred Heart of Jesus”

Jesus, whose burning love inflames my heart with its flame; Thou who didst die on the cross that I might be saved from eternal damnation; Thou who hast left in Thy Sacred Heart a fountain of mercy for all who approach it with confidence; hear me this day for I come before Thee seeking Thy grace.

Third Day: “Most Sacred Heart

Oh, Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in You.

I come before You today with all my cares and troubles.

I know that if I ask You for help, You will hear me and help me.

I open my heart to receive Your love and mercy.

Give me Your love and peace so that I may share it with others.

Help me to persevere in doing Your will always, even when it is difficult for me to do so.

May the light of Your love shine upon me this day, and may my heart burn with the fire of your love always

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in your divine mercy

and I consecrate to you today and forever my intellect and my will,

my thoughts and affections, my whole heart.

I offer them to you that they may always be entirely devoted to your service

and be pleasing to you.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I give you my entire self for time and for eternity.

By the infinite merits of your Sacred Heart obtain for me from God the Father the pardon of all my sins and grace to practice charity towards Your neighbor during life.

Have pity on me, O Heavenly Father! Have pity on me, O Most Merciful Jesus! Do not punish me in eternity for the faults that I have committed in time! Give me Thy love; give me Thy grace; give me Thy salvation! Amen.

O most loving Jesus, Who said: “I am the Good Shepherd,” come and fold me in Your arms.

Let every breath of air which passes over my lips be a prayer to love You.

Let every drop of water that cools my parched throat be a prayer to love You. Let every morsel of food I eat be a prayer to love You.

Let every thought I think and act I do be a prayer to love Your Sacred Heart.

Let every beat of my heart be a song of praise for Your merciful love. Amen

  1. I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
  2. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
  3. I believe in the Holy Spirit, holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, forgiveness of sins, eternal life after death, resurrection of body, and life everlasting. Amen
